 DECORATING OUR HOME
Of course after adding color to our walls we decided we needed some large paintings for our very large walls. It's very lucky that Charlie and I have similar taste in artwork and actually fell in love with the same paintings.
 Justin's 30th Birthday Charlie's 70th Birthday

"a new baby is like the beginning of all things, hope, a dream of possibilities." | At Papa and Nana's daycare Renner laughs at Nana's feet, squeals happily at Nattie, gets very excited when it's time to watch Baby Einstein and enjoys playing with all his toys. He also loves special attention from Grandpa.
In past years I have received diamonds or flowers for my birthday. However on my 65th birthday we thought leather was a good choice. This way Charlie can enjoy my gift with me.
Father's Day 2012 | This was a very busy week with Justin and Lauren moving out of their new home of 2 years to a 1500 sq. ft rental house. They will be building a larger house in the same Canyon Lake addition. However, in the meantime their family life will be in a much closer space. | Justin, Lauren and Renner came over Friday evening and Justin cooked steaks and potatoes for dinner. He even helped with clean up of the kitchen. The steaks were wonderful and the thought was even better.
This year we gave our children early birthday/Christmas gifts. Instead of money we gave them season tickets for the Broadway shows at the Civic Center. | This year has not only been filled with inside improvements but also changes in the outside. The flower beds in the front were lined with a nice stone curbing. The back yard had new shade grass under the trees and in the dog run. We also replaced parts of the wood fence and bricks placed under the fence. The fruit trees were plentiful this year but I spent too much time picking up bad fruit from the ground. We did enjoy the one apple pie I baked using the apples from our tree.
Bo and Val got married in Cozumel. The Martin family enjoyed a trip to attend the wedding.
 Cozumel, Mexico
