1: Love | Enjoy Life's Adventures Together | About Us

2: Craig and I met through mutual friends on a camping trip in 2004. Our relationship grew stronger and healthier with each passing year and we were married a few years later. We both love the outdoors and adventure, which is why we live so close to the water and beach. Craig and I have lived both on the West and East Coast and now call the South East home. We are looking forward to building our family and starting a new chapter together as parents. | Our Story | Fun in the sun and adventure all around is what we love. Whether it is rock climbing; kayaking; hiking or backpacking, being together is what really makes it all exciting.

3: Hi, We believe that you are making the most courageous decision. You are a strong person with a warm heart empowered by strength. We are so honored to have you learn about us and who we are; two people who met by chance and fell in love. Building a family is something we have always wanted. Even before we were married we discussed adoption as a way to build our family. From the moment we were married we were eager to start. After being faced with fertility issues, our transition to adoption came with ease and excitement. The unconditional and honest love that our families both have for each other is endless. Both of our families will welcome with open arms and hearts your little boy or little girl. Our relationship is built on a foundation of love, honesty, adventure, laughter and friendship; of which is just the beginning of what we commit to provide your child with. A safe place to call home; creating family memories; inspiring childhood dreams through experiences and exposure; advanced educational opportunities and to embrace each other is part of the definition we call family. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to share our story with you. Julie & Craig

5: Getting to know Craig | Hello, I grew up in a small town in Nebraska with loving parents and three older sisters. I enjoyed football, basketball and golf in high school and ended up going to state playoffs in golf. As a family growing up we always went to our nearby lake every weekend and enjoyed many water sports and boating. We would also get together every year with my cousins and take exciting family vacations to either the beaches along the East Coast or the mountains in Colorado. We have so many life adventures, which we plan on continuing for many years to come. I went to college at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln where I graduated with a BS in Construction Management with a Minor in Business. I am currently working for a large construction firm as a Project Engineer. I have worked on many different projects such as a Ski Resort, Casino, Water Treatment Facility and a Movie Theater. I have a great desire for adventure and I am lucky to have found someone so special that has that same desire. My wife Julie is an amazing individual that makes our family so loving and adventurous. I can't wait to become a father to teach and show all my knowledge and journeys with.

7: Getting to know Julie | Hi, I was born and raised in sunny Southern California. I was very active in sports growing up including soccer, lacrosse and basketball as well as The Girl Scouts, which my mom was the troop leader. I am very fortunate as a child that all of my family lived within a short driving distance. There would always be weekend trips to Grandma and Grandpa's house. My family, including cousins, aunts and uncles, spent a lot of time enjoying vacations together whether it is skiing, fishing, going to amusement and water parks or playing on the beach. Everybody knows when my family is around because our laughter and eager chit chat can be heard echoing off the walls. Even some of the places I have lived as an adult were childhood vacation spots. Spending so much time together has made our family very strong and close. My eye for adventure lead me to my future husband. It was while camping and through mutual friends we met. I moved states to be closer to Craig. We enjoyed living the "rough" life in the mountains right on a lake. However after almost two years we were interested in continuing our journey. We pulled out the map and picked a to the Southern East coast we went. I love the South East very much and proud to call it home. Although it is far from my family we talk often and email even more often. We take many trips home to visit my family, almost every other year. I am very grateful for my family what they have taught me.

17: Our Home | We take great joy in making a house . . . our home. | Our home sits nestled on a cul-de-sac in a quiet neighborhood close to the beach and parks. The kids on our street can be found playing basketball and hula hooping. It's always a great feeling to drive down our street and see all the sidewalk chalk drawings of flowers and hop scotch. | We have a fenced in backyard surrounded by tall hedges that bloom in the summer. Craig built a screened in gazebo that even has a wood burning stove. We also built a deck that stretches out from our back french doors to the tall native pine trees. A new addition to our yard is our chicken coop that we built together over a year ago. There is plenty of room to play ball and have tea parties. It eagerly awaits to be complete with a swing set. | A garden filled with pepper plants line the side of our house. Julie loves to plant flowers and enjoys gardening, which is a past time that she would do with her mother and hopes to do the same with your child.

To be together to create memories and adventures that will last a lifetime and to overcome challenges as a family. | You can learn anything from anybody no matter who they are, what they look like or where they come from. Educate yourself and teach others.

23: Julie & Craig | Thank you for giving us the opportunity to share our story and adventures with you. We hope it gave you some insight on who we are and how we will bring our family values into raising your child.
