FC: Joe & Stephanie De Bauche

1: Dear Birthparent: Hello, We are Stephanie and Joe De Bauche. We want to thank you for taking the time to get to know us by reading our adoption profile. Adoption is very near and dear to us. Stephanie was adopted as an infant by a wonderful couple. We are so thankful that Stephanie's birthmother chose adoption and thank God every day for the family He chose for her. Stephanie's sister, Stacy, discovered she was pregnant at a very young age and also chose adoption. Stacy's 18 year old son, Justin, lives in California with his adoptive mother and was just back for a visit last Thanksgiving to spend some time with us. We know that you're about to make some very important and difficult decisions about your baby's future as well as your own, and we wish you strength and courage. We warmly welcome you and your baby into our life. Your baby will grow in an atmosphere of a happy marriage and family life of unconditional love, generosity, laughter, forgiveness, and peace. We started dating 10 years ago and have been married just over 7 years. We knew from the beginning that we were meant to be together. Many couples facing fertility struggles grow apart, but it only brought us closer together. Adoption feels right to us. We love each other very much and have so much love to give. We are very excited to start our family and pray that you will consider us to parent your baby. God Bless, Joe and Stephanie

7: More about Joe - by Stephanie... Joe is a wonderful husband. He is very thoughtful and loving. He makes me feel very special. He is such a gentleman...he opens the car door for me, cooks for me, and always puts me first. I am so blessed that God put Joe in my life. Joe is my best friend and my soul mate. Joe has the"gift of gab. He can make anyone feel at ease and can easily have a conversation with anyone. I can't count the times that we have just met someone and he immediately gets a conversation going. Joe will be an amazing dad. Joe is a big kid himself; all of our nieces and nephews love to play and roughhouse with him. Joe will be a fun dad, yet will teach respect and boundaries at the same time. Joe has so much love to give and our son or daughter will be truly blessed to have him as his/her father.

9: More about Stephanie-by Joe... Stephanie is kind, patient, understanding, organized and a great listener. She makes me feel like I am the luckiest man alive. She is very family oriented. She has been great about accepting my family as her own. I am blessed to have found her as my wife. She is my soul mate. Stephanie also has a very good sense of humor. She is quick-witted; sometimes when she has a comeback for something, it can go right over my head. She got that from her father. She is not afraid to try things. She also has the courage to stand up and say if something is really wrong. She has principles and integrity. Many of her friends, including newer ones, are friends for life because of her personality. They adore her because she is true. Stephanie will be a fantastic mom. She has such patience with me, that I know she will be great to our kids. She will be a great teacher but she will also nurture. Her faith in God is very important and I know she will impart that to our children. Her love is boundless and she will love our child no matter what the circumstance.

11: Our journey to start a family... We met just over 10 years ago through mutual friends. Our first night out we spent hours talking. We both knew that this was going to be something special. We have been inseparable since our first date. We married a few years after we started dating and moved to Minnesota for job opportunities. We began to try for a family and discovered that we would need the help of fertility treatments if we wanted to conceive a child on our own. We tried a couple of rounds of IVF. When the fertility treatments failed to work...we knew that this was God's way of telling us that we should adopt. The IVF roller coaster is hard on most couples; luckily, it brought us even closer together. A year and a half ago we moved to Nebraska so that we could be closer to our families. We then started to gather the information needed to start the adoption process. Adoption has always meant something special to both of us. We are anxious to share the blessing of adoption with a child. We have so much love to give.
