BC: Story about one of the most important women, in history.

FC: Annie Oakley

1: Annie Oakley 1860-1926 Annie Oakley was the first female sharp shooter. She started shooting at the age of nine. | This is one of her guns That she used. | ^

2: Annie did not attend school because, of the poverty of losing her father. | Annie(left) Father(middle) Annie's husband Frank(right)

3: When Annie was 15 years old, a guy by the name of Frank E. Butler came up to her and asked her to be on his Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show and do gun tricks.

4: A few years after, Annie married Frank. | She got married at age 16.

5: Her most famous trick was the playing card trick. She would put several holes in the card before touching the ground.

6: In one of her shows, she had to shoot the tip of the cigarette in her husbands mouth, if she would of missed she could of started world war 2.

7: While going to one of her shows on a train, the driver missed the signal that 2 trains were coming it's way, and crashed, got paralyzed in the legs, and had 5 spinal operations.

8: After being paralyzed she got fired from the Buffalo Bill's Wild West show, and starred on the show Western Girl. She was playing the part of Nancy Berry, and used a rifle, pistol and shot gun.

9: As she grew older, she and her husband died from being in a car crash.
