FC: Arches National Park, Utah September 2013
Balanced Rock Smiling happy couple on vacation
Double O Arch Sections of the trail going to Double O are challenging in the beginning when you have to climb up a very steep spine (top left photo) and at places a very narrow path. Some people couldn't make the climb.
View from the hiking trail to Double O Arches
Double O Arch It was a tough climb through the small lower "O" Right: We are on the other side of the "O" to be able to see how huge the "Os" are.
Double O Arch & Dark Angel All in one day's hike Right: The Windows North and South Windows
 The Windows Very easy hike.
Delicate Arch It was a killer hike up the rock face trail (see photos on previous pages). The final cliff-side path to the Arch was very narrow and steep. We hiked up in the late afternoon, it was HOT. The best time to see the Arch is at sunrise or sunset. It's worth the pains and exhaustion.
Canoing down the Colorado River Nothing exciting happened. Very calm water. Saw $5000/night resort. We kayaked and I swam. Tony dry duck did not go in the water. Top right: Balanced Rock
Goodbye Arches We are heading to Capital Reef National Park
