FC: Atticus Finch | Quinn Mosier Zack Kouba Hour 7
My name is Atticus Finch. I am currently a lawyer for Maycomb County. | I am also a full-time Dad of two wonderful children.
 I'm also a world-class shot.
Oh my Scout. The little kid is so wild and naive. She loves to read though! Anything I read or that she can get her hands on! If only she would stop bothering Mr. Radley! My favorite memories of young Scout is when we read at night together after work. I can't wait to see her grow up in maturity and in who she is.
Ah Jem! Jem is growing up so fast. I am so thankful for the hours he has spent hanging around with Scout. He has so much enthusiasm and courage! I remember one time he even ran back to Mr. Radley's house to get his pants that he left there! Jem is going to develop into a fine young man when he gets older.
One of my biggest cases and the case that affected me personally the most is the trial of Tom Robinson. Now I defended a negro named Mr. Robinson in his trial against Bob Ewell and most of the county of Maycomb. Mr. Ewell was saying that he had found Tom Robinson raping his daughter Mayella. Now I knew Mr. Ewell was a racist in the town and that he was lying off the bat! Tom Robinson was found guilty in that trial and was eventually shot. I knew I didn't have much of a chance because of his skin color but I knew this trial had ended 200 years ago. I will never regret defending Mr. Robinson.
One night my kids, Jem and Scout, were walking home from a Halloween Pageant at the school when they were almost taken from Mr. Bob Ewell. If it were not for Mr. Boo Radley saving my kids they both could've died. So then after they were safe I called Mr. Tate about what had happen. Later I had found out that Mr. Ewell was lying dead under a tree with a knife in his ribs. It was a very emotional night for me and it teaches the values of not to hold a grudge. Mr. Bow Ewell had still held a grudge from the trial and that was his downfall.
Me and this pocket watch have gone back so far! My papa gave it to me, oh pops. Once Jem comes of age I will pass it on to him and down the generations. I love this pocket watch so much. It has been with me through the good and tough times.
Man, how my love for books increases everyday! You can learn a lot of good life values and read a lot of good stories! Me and little Scout love to read on the porch at night. Especially on a cool summer night when the wind breezes through Scouts hair. I am reading almost constantly. I read at my office and even when I come home from the office! You could even go so far as to call me a bibliophile!
“You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view — until you climb into his skin and walk around in it” (Lee 30).
