BC: From my Heart to yours Aunt Carla, you are the best | From Tara May
FC: A Special Book for a Special Person | Here's To You Aunt Carla
I see the tears you've cried For loved one you've had to tell good-bye I see the pain you're going through Even when you're feeling blue I see the love you give Even in the way you forgive I see the way you smile Even on days when you feel you can't walk another mile I see the way you light up a room Like making flowers bloom I see your heart It's full of love, something that never parts | But most importantly I see you Someone who at times feels blue Who feels there are days you just can't keep going But yet you keep on showing A love that knows no end. | I See
Aunt Carla, the poem I See was wrote just for you because it's all the things that I see in you. You are not only a remarkable person, but you are someone who is amazing and loves unconditionally. You never cease to amaze me. You have been there for me through good and bad. If I had to choose a hero, it would be you. You stepped up when no one else would, from encouraging me to go to counseling to being there for all my medical stuff, to my tire breaking on my van..LOL all these things have made me appreciate you more than you probably will ever know. I know that you are going through a tough time right now but know that there are people who truly love you just the way you are. I am and always will be one of those people. I am blessed to have you in my life. I thank God for you everyday. Thank you for what you have done for me and for being there. I love you.
I think about the times we have shared All the times we said what we dared I think about all the talks we've had Even when there were moments they were sad I think about all the laughs we've had And knowing that nothing can be that bad | I think about the tears that we cried When someone we loved died But what I think about most Was when my heart almost closed When my world came crashing down And I felt like I had drowned But then you were there Not only to bare the sorrow But to share | All the Times
This poem was wrote for you when I had my miscarriage. I wrote this for you because I felt like I had no one but you. You cried and you hurt not only because of the loss of two precious babies but also because I was hurting. You never gave up on me in that moment. That is a memory that will forever stay with me. You stuck with me through that rough time in my life.
You're having a bad day I'm not quite sure what to say Though words don't seem to help right now I know that the love that surrounds you Will get you through somehow You're in my thoughts and prayers | And Aunt Carla I want you to know That even in your darkest hours I still care | I Still Care
You are an inspiration in many ways And I am so glad you're here to stay I'll never forget those three little words you say Or the memories we made today And now I can lay down and rest Because Auntie you are the best!
Thanks for the encouragement you send my way Thanks for those three little words you say Thanks for all that you do Thanks for being there Thanks for the memories we'll share Thanks for all the talks you give | Thanks for letting me know you want me to live But mostly Thanks for being a Aunt whose love knows no end | Thanks
The thing that I cherish most is the time we spend together making memories. | Whether there is good or bad going on in our lives we still find time to be there for each other. | I enjoy hearing you laugh and seeing you smile. I also love hearing your thoughts and opinions
The Broken Ones | Maggie came home one day with a raggedy, Raggedy Ann. She said " Mama, look what I found in the neighbors garbage can." It had a missing left arm, and a right button eye hanging by a thread She carried it gently up to her room and laid it one her bed with her other dolls. | She loves the broken ones, the ones that need a little patchin' up She see's the diamond in the rough and makes it shine like new It really doesn't take that much, a willing heart and a tender touch If everybody loved like she does, there'd be allot less broken ones.
Twenty years later at a shelter on Eighteenth Avenue A seventeen year old girl shows up all black and blue with needle tracks in her left arm, almost too week to stand, She says,"I'm lost an I need help", and Maggie takes her hand And says, "Come on in!" | if you call her and angel, she'd be quick to say to you She's just doing what the one who died for her would do
Love the broken ones, the ones that need a little patchin' up See the diamond in the rough and make it shine like new it really doesn't take that much, a willing heart and a tender touch If everybody loved like He does, there'd be allot less broken ones If everybody loved like He does, there's be allot less broke ones.
God Sent You to Me | I've hoped and prayed, so many times That someone like you would come my way My Prayers were answered one summer day When God placed you in my life to stay | You see he knows what's best for you and for me All I have to do is open my eyes and see That my prayers were answered The day God sent you to me
This Book is for you and about you. You mean the world to me, even when I don't always say it. May you always know just what you mean to me and may you always remember you are not alone. | I've been blessed with true happiness A peace in life I've never known before Makes me feel like I can soar All because God sent you to me
