Happy 5th Birthday Bailey! Your birthday theme was quite easy to pick this year as you are completely enamored with all-things princess and pink! Our family friend Karen even made you a princess tent. Daddy and I got you both a large doll house. We had a family and close friends party this year. You loved being showered with attention and handled it as any princess would with poise and grace.

Bailey B You have so many nicknames. One of which comes naturally as "worry-wart." You worry about so many things I wouldn't expect from a five-year old. You worry about how your babies you'll have someday will hurt getting out. You worried about how daddy and I will ever be able to get your big bed like ours into your own house someday. You worry about if you will know everything when you start school and ask us what you will do if you don't know something. | Treating Mr. Nibbles as your baby | Journaling about our hydroponic strawberries | Cuddling your favorite person

We also call you "Bailey Boo-Hoo" as you are the first to cry or show any emotion. You are easy to tell if you are overtired from the day as it comes out in whines and cries. You even will tell us you "just can't hold it in anymore" as the tears start flowing. You love to do things the right way and love to show off how smart you are with school things like writing letters or sounds letters make. | Looking cute! | Feeding Guinness a treat-which you love to do! | Making playdoh-pizza--such a project girl!

Your first tooth to come out was wiggly for several weeks. I was worried you would swallow it. Finally I asked Nanny to pull it out! | First Missing Tooth!

 What a Cutie!

 Easter 2012

Preschool Memories with Mrs. Warnock at Ohio Wesleyan's ECC | I remember... ""We made hats, we made a tree with a butterfly (life cycle), eating snack and counting it,

Such a school girl.!You insisted on writing more than what you needed to on a preschool project. You love to find patterns now after learning them at preschool. I am anxious to see what kind of student you will be in school.

Summertime holds such wonderful things... horseback riding lessons, pond swimming, family time at the Wilds, COSI, Locker Soccer lessons, family gatherings, visiting Ye Olde Mill, and The Columbus Zoo. You found when we started back to school just how lovely it is to have all that time off together.

Bailey-isms: "Do Bus drivers serve food? (bus boys) Peter Hop-n-tail" "When God looks down he made upon the clouds" "If you see a policeman you have to go slow." If you cry you have to go to bed." "I'm smart, I know things that are right." You decided you should be an artist when you grow up because you are good at it!

Father's Day 2012 For a special project for Daddy we took a photo of your shadows. The true gift was your patience of so many shots before one worked. You were losing your patience and of course let me know!

Face-Painting Playdate We went to a preschool friend's house for a playdate and a mom painted your faces. You chose a unicorn!

Bailey Goes to Kindergarten! Miss Sopp Heritage Elementary Room 110 Favorites of school: helping the teacher, doing the weather, riding the bus | These Are The Moments I Live For

Fall Memories with Bailey-- You were so full of anxiety about gymnastics--excited to go, but then didn't want to go back because it did not come super easy to you. We are making you stick with it because we know it's what is best for you. You did enjoy a few riding lessons and were not afraid of the horses at all. You loved our fall walks as a family looking for leaves to collect together and running on the paths of Deer Haven Reserve. You enjoy spending time with us, even will want to do school work and practice writing together. You enjoy the positive encouragement and practice. We often have to remind you to calm down your emotions. You are very high-maintenance, wanting your needs met immediately. And if you don't like something or are not perfectly happy, you certainly let us all know! You respect the boundaries of Guinness asking us his mood in order to pet him. "Is he feeling swacky" you'll ask me.

Florida for Thanksgiving This year just the girls took a trip to Florida to see Grammie and Pampie. (Daddy decided to save us money and not go) We stayed for a whole week! You loved the pool the most but loved the ocean and playing in the waves with Pampie. You had a great time running fast far up ahead of us along the beach. We took you to Mote Aquarium where you still remember seeing a dead Giant Squid, an octopus and 24 hour-old seahorses. It was a neat experience. I bought you both a necklace in the gift shop to remember it. Several nights you were so tired from our days in the sun and the sand we were asleep before 7 o'clock! What a great place to be together . Such great memories!

Bailey didn't have much on her list this year. A surprise from Santa was her request. She got baby things and Legos. | Holidays were actually relaxing. We enjoyed a long break together. We spent time with the cousins and did some home projects together.

We finally got to take advantage of the weather! We actually had some snow this year and we rode around the yard on sleds.

a Sweet Sixth Birthday Party Friday February 15th 2013

We had a family party again this year and Karen made all the food. It was beautiful and delicious! You got clothes and Legos. Pop-Pop and Grandma Kate got you Disney On Ice tickets. That was so much fun to take you to and have you experience. We even let you wear a princess dress to it! I redid your room as a surprise for your birthday. We still kept one wall the same, Daddy says it has too many memories to paint over it.

The first time we had you gassed to keep you from freaking out. | First Babysitter! Elise Mays, a family friend, for two hours while we went to a birthday party down the street. You said she was really nice and even gave you a kiss goodnight!

Springtime Bailey We had a great spring together. You kept busy with projects--you started writing poetry in the car one day. We took a small trip to Indianapolis, Indiana to the Children's museum for Spring Break. You barely made the long car trip and it was only three hours. (You were not meant for the car!) We stayed overnight in a hotel, which you did like. The whole concept of a hotel was interesting to you and brought up lots of questions. We split the Museum into two days, which was a great idea! We learned a lot together. You especially liked the mummy exhibit. We bought a excavation kit for you both so you could dig out your own Egyptian item as a souvenir. Other than your worries getting the best of you once in awhile you are such a helpful and considerate girl. We are so lucky! You did fabulous in Kindergarten, reading and writing way above level. I love to listen to you read!

I took you to a Home Depot Kids Workshop and you got to make a wooden car. It was a fun project! You went rock climbing at the YMCA. I was shocked you climbed all the way to the top with no worries!

Summer 2013 was the summer of picnics and parks and pretend! The weather was unusually cool so we took many trips to the local parks and even finished a summer letterbox treasure hunt visiting 5 of them. You were such an adventurous sort climbing all the way up to a high rock several times when all of us were even afraid. We took a family car trip to Hilton Head, South Carolina. Daddy & I worried about you surviving the 12-hour car ride, but you loved earning 'car-bucks' for every hour you didn't whine. It worked very well and were able to pick out a special mermaid at a small gift shop there.

First Grade with 'Miss J' | Cowgirl for Halloween

On the playground you fell down and got quite a scrape on your knee. It took weeks of healing and hated wearing band-aids because they hurt so bad to rip off! | At the fair this year you wanted to ride this bigger kid ride that goes way up and circles around. Both Ethan and Larkin backed out but not you. We were shocked to see you wait in line, alone and enjoy the ride as much as you did!

Lost top tooth December 29th, 2013. You finally pulled it out yourself! | You asked Santa for a friend for your mermaid and a surprise.

K is for King of Kings This year you were in the Christmas Pageant at church. You had the letter K. It wasn't long before you had the entire thing memorized! You stood up there in front of everyone and spoke it so clearly and slowly. We were all so proud of you! You had Grammie, Grandma Kate, Pop-Pop, Aunt Marilyn and your cousins all in attendance for it too!
