1: Preface This book is dedicated to my son, Bader This story has been prepared to assist the ESL children at age ten to read and understand the adjectives of English as a second language. Learning adjectives is the key to making ideas become alive to the children in the new language so they can make a better picture in their minds. Each page has one or two adjectives to help the children develop this important skill in learning the second language. The story is about a huge man who lives alone in a big castle. By chance two kids come into the castle and make changes in the life of the big
2: man. I got the idea of this book from looking on Internet. The pictures are taken from a French website. I do not know the French language, so I created my own story out of my imagination. It is hoped that ESL children will be able to read the story alone and have complete understanding for the meaning of these adjectives and how to use them in English sentences. I hope to produce a second story which will be about adverbs to help children learn the difference between the adjective and the adverb. Special thanks to my husband Mutlak who supports and helps me.
