FC: INTRODUCTION From hunters and gathers to farmers. The paleolithic people and the neolithic people were very intelligent they invented things that we still use use in this time of period. In my story i will explain what the paleolithic people did to become great farmers. It take about 8,000 B.C.E for the paleolithic people to create a stable food supply ,to make permanent shelters, developing new jobs, establish communities, and beginning to trade.

From Old Stone To New Stone

A STABLE FOOD SUPPLY | By 8,000 b.c.e some groups of people learned how to raise crops and animals. Their main job was to find food to survive for their family.During the paleolithic age people obtained food by hunting animals and gathering plants didn't supply a very stable food chain.Wild plants and animals grew scarce when they stayed in one place for too long. And hunting was very dangerous.Gradually people learned they didn't have to depend on hunting and gathering.Instead of gathering they could plant seeds and harvest crops.Over time they learned which seeds produced the most crops. In the neolithic age begun with a stable food chain for the first time.

Another thing the paleolithic people did to become better farmers was they learned to domesticate animals. After years of animals hunting and killing them, the early farmers discovered they could take the animal like goat, catties, and sheep and raise them until they were bigger and cook them. The paleolithic people also got milk from goats, and catties.they used mules to carry heavy things. The paleolithic growing seeds and raising animals was called Agriculture. And for the first time people had a stable food supply. This was one of the most important advance in all history.

MAKING PERMANENT SHELTERS | Another important advance thing in all history was the paleolithic people made permanent shelters. After years of living in caves or rough,or tetlike structures. When the stone age discover agriculture they decided they had to stay in one place. As people settled down to farm during the neolithic age they build more permanent shelters. They build round or rectangular houses with mud bricks together.

DEVELONGING NEW JOBS | Having a stable foods chain allowed new kind of jobs. In the paleolithic time their main jobs was finding foods to survive. With farms to provide their food neolithic people could develop more specialized skills. People allowed others to get better at their jobs. In some regions people mined so that stoneworks could create sharper tools. Different jobs created much more variety in communities life.

BIGINNING TO TRADE | Another major change in neolithic was the growth in trades. Paleolithic hunters and gathers barely traded with other groups but once people settled in towns and villages trading became much more common. People traded to get things they needed or didn't have. Neolithic became more skilled in their work. They wanted to improve their materials. Traders traveled 100 of miles to get what they wanted. As they kept trading and they became more skilled.
