BC: Merry Christmas 2010 | Happy New Year! | We love you. | From Charm, Brian and David
Our journey from Davis to San Luis Obispo to visit Brian and to celebrate an early Thanksgiving. An adventure we will always treasure. | Mimi and David at the train station
After David "tagged" our luggage, we waited in the train station. Charm made a quick hot cocoa run. Then we waited as instructed, "by the red light."
All Aboard! With our snacks at the ready, we settled into our seats. Grams' first time on a train was going to be fun! | Dave tried a new card game with Mimi.. Turn the page to see how it turned out.
Yahtzee! In our seats and in the lounge car. . . | Mimi . . . you already have a full house.
We made our way to the dining car for lunch. Charm's spinach salad was fresh and delicious. David's burger was large and good. Mimi ordered kids' menu chicken nuggets. | As we made our way back to our seats, Mimi "dropped in" on a sleeping family.
Brian was there to welcome us at the San Luis Obispo train station. In his "nice clean car" he drove us to the Quality Inn to check in.
What a great place to stay. Grams and Charm enjoyed the Quality Inn while Brian and Dave had brother time. Where can we buy one of the great comforters?
While Mimi got comfortable at the Quality Inn, Brian, Dave and Charm stocked up on groceries, putted the golf ball and watched Toy Story 3.
We began our day Friday with brunch at the hotel. | Grams and Charm hit downtown SLO while Brian and Dave golfed.
Brian worked on Friday at the golf tournament. He looked so handsome in his uniform. After posing for a picture, Brian gets to work and so do Mimi and Mom
Mimi worked her magic on the blinds while Mom worked her magic on the "slippery floor." | Socks. Socks. Socks. Socks. Socks. Socks. Socks. Socks. Socks. Socks. Socks. Socks. Socks. Socks. Socks. Socks. Socks. Socks. Socks. Socks.
This foursome enjoyed all activities required for a great Thanksgiving feast. Mimi made mashed potatoes. Mom made the turkey, stuffing, and fruit salad,. Teamwork was the key. | Mimi working her magic. | Brian's kitchen was "the spot." | Mimi and Mom do the mashed potato
Our Thanksgiving Meal. | Has Brian been working out? | The autograph--John Elway | Brothers and Buddies
We hope that this little book captures the fun we had and the memories we made on our trip to San Luis Obispo. From experiencing your first train ride with you, to spending a morning in downtown SLO. And from enjoying brunch at the hotel to working on loads of laundry. And from preparing a Thanksgiving dinner to enjoying a family feast, we had one of the best weekends ever. We love You . . Charm, Brian & David
