1: David & Nicole | Dear Birth Parents, Thank you for considering adoption and taking the time to look at our profile. We realize this is a difficult time for you and we have already begun praying for you. We cannot imagine what you are going through and we admire your courage. God always gives us the ability to do what we never thought possible without Him. God works in ways we will never understand but, we are thankful that He brought you into our lives. We pray that God would grant you peace, strength, and guidance as you move forward in your journey. We hope we are able to express our love and respect for you in this letter. We have always wanted children and know that God is leading us to adopt. We are so thankful for all the blessings God has given us but, we are still waiting for the biggest blessing yet. We know that God has a wonderful plan in mind and will answer our prayer. We do want to acknowledge that what may be your greatest sorrow will be our greatest joy. We are so sorry for your struggle and your pain. Please be comforted with the knowledge that God is in control and can heal all wounds. 17: Poem of our Family Tree Resemblance of our family tree is often not what is said to be. The work of dad is never quite finished. While mother's love is never diminished. The son and daughter play happy with glee, They play their own games and make believe. We gather around the table, each one in its place. With a gentle squeeze of the hand,a big smile on each face. We bow our heads and thank God and say our grace. For no matter what comes and knocks on the door, Calamity and struggles or that which is more, Turns into an eagle that flies away and soars. Though we are common to people, some say plain as can be, We know who we are in God's vast family tree. Without naming names, we laugh and we joke, Making fun of the tardiness we somehow invoke Don't pass the A1, you won't get it back. The steak will I drown in a sauce heart attack. So how many calories does this add up for me? Would you please stop counting, you're thinner than me. Or when we go shopping and ask "What about this?" No, I can save more off my holiday list. Our pets are like children they bring us pure joy, A gift from our Father who loves to employ. I guess we all know that we are so loved and so blessed. We hold our hearts tight, and clutch hands to our chest. And when we look forward to our future place, We all see the same, God's glory and grace. And we've saved room for a baby, To share our small space. By Dustin (Nicole's brother)
