1: This is the setting of the book Forever War and this is the "The Land of Hope and Sorrow
2: The fighting in Baghdad was intense and a hard fought battle
3: The results of the fighting were devastating to both sides
4: The aftermath of the war was good and bad, because there was no electricity, or clean sterile hospitals and insurgents were still causing problems and deaths to citizens.
5: The state of hospitals was a major problem in Baghdad due to the fact they were still war zones.
7: Our troops bravely patrolled and tried to keep peace in the Iraqi towns but most of the time, the people would not listen to reason and just want the Americans to die.
8: Marines visit parts of Iraq making peace with the local militia leaders
10: This is Paul Bremer a military negotiator in Iraq who went around and talked to governors and mayors of provinces and towns asking them questions about how they can improve there situation.
11: To the right is the marine captain Read Omohundro, the man who led Dexter Filkins (below) to safety during the infiltration of Baghdad by Bravo Company.
12: More American troops are brought to Iraq due to the fact that Iraq isn't showing enough change and progress to have a stable government and military.
13: More troops are bringing peace and stability to the new Iraq.
14: "There mind's work differently, Totally nonlinear, No beginning, No end"
