S: Jolls Family 2011
FC: A YEAR IN REVIEW
1: 2011 was a pretty good year for us. We took a few trips, played lots of sports, and spent a lot of family time together. The weather was pretty crazy. In January, we had blizzard like conditions and a record snowfall. The temperature on Feb. 10 hit -31 degrees, another record broke . June there was a micro-burst that caused quite a bit of damage to the house, it was also the hottest summer. We had 63 straight days of 100 degree temperatures, shattering the record of 5o straight days.We had 50 tornado's just in the month of April, most all of those were east of I-35. The total number of tornado's in our state for 2011 was 118, which included 1 EF-5 near Guthrie. What we experienced in November though had to be the most shocking. Oklahoma had a 5.6 magnitude Earthquake. This was the largest on record. The boys are defiantly showing their age. They both lost their first teeth; Gavin lost 9 teeth and Dillon lost 1. We got a few bumps and bruises along the way, but otherwise growing like weeds. Gavin is 4ft 3.5in. tall and weighs 55lbs, Dillon is 4ft tall and weighs 45lbs. Dillon is very vivacious and constantly keeps us on our toes. He broke his arm this year from falling off the trampoline. He enjoyed playing soccer, but didn't like all of the running. T-ball seems to be more of his thing. Dillon started Kindergarten and has showed us just how smart he is. He really likes his teacher and tells us all the time how pretty she is. Gavin is much more calm. He is a people pleaser and always wants to do good. He started the first grade and has made a lot of friends. Soccer is his favorite sport, but he also enjoys to play basketball as well. While playing with friends he fell and busted his lip open. We had to go the the ER and they sealed the cut with some surgical glue. He now officially has his first scar, but hopefully it will fade within time.
2: December 2010 | This was a very busy time of the year! Kc received a promotion at work which provided the boys with a great Christmas! Gavin and Dillon loved bringing out the holiday decorations and enjoyed making gingerbread houses.

This month was cram packed full of action as Dillon fell off of the trampoline and broke his wrist providing us with our first cast while Gavin lost his 3rd tooth and is still enjoyed soccer. | April 2011 | It rained all day on Easter so we hunted our eggs in the garage. This did not seem to bother the kids one bit. As long as they were able to hunt eggs they were happy. Gavin asked if the Easter Bunny was real this year so the truth came out and he was surprisingly fine with it. I sure did not think he would be asking these type of questions this early. | Friday April 22, 2011 I thought these clouds were really cool looking.
