1: Adoption a*dop*tion/ [uh- dop- shun ]/ noun adored and loved by both my families.
2: Dear Birthmother, Our heart is full as we write this letter and we hope that we can express our love and gratitude for taking the time to get to know us a little better, as well as considering an adoption plan for your child. We know this must be a very difficult time for you, and we are amazed by your courage to make an unimaginable decision. We are already parents so we know that words can't really express the love between a parent and child. We also have experienced the miracle of adoption unfold as we were blessed with our son, Isaac. Here is a little more about our family. We met 12 years ago and our life has been full of adventure since then! We only dated for a short time and knew we were in love. We were married in July of 2001. We feel like we have a strong marriage because our personalities compliment each other. Barrett did his undergraduate at Utah State University and went on to Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. After graduation, he became a pediatric doctor at Children's Mercy hospital in Kansas City, Missouri where he did 3 years of residency. After his residency was done, he joined a private pediatric practice in Utah. Chantel attended Utah State University as well but finished her degree in psychology at Columbia College. Being a full time stay at home mom has been her greatest job so far! She cherishes the time she gets to be at home and be with her family.
3: Morgan was born in May of 2004 and has brought love and joy to our home since then. We battled with infertility before having her so we felt extremely blessed when she came into our family. Maxwell was born in December of 2005 and took us all by surprise! He has been the best surprise this family has had so far! He brings love and laughter wherever he goes. Isaac was born in 2011 and our life was forever changed by the sacrifice of his birth family. Words can't express the pure joy this sweet baby is.We share an open adoption with his birth family. We have always wanted a big family and after battling infertility for 5 years we knew God had a different plan for us. We think adoption is such an amazing gift and feel blessed that we get to be part of it. We are active members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. We attend church together every week as a family. It is important to raise our family with Christian beliefs and let them know they are children of God. We promise to love this baby and provide it a stable, caring family, who can't wait to meet him or her! Love, Barrett, Chantel. Morgan, Maxwell and Isaac
