1: Ida May Brinks was born on February 18, 1931 in Burbank, California.
2: Houston Fendly Brinks and Myra with Ida May | Her parents were married in 1919. | Estah Agatha (Miller) Brinks
3: Because she lived during the Depression, her only dolls were dolls that her sister, Myra, passed down to her. | Their family was complete with their trusted dog, Rusty. | She's here with her grandmother, Julia Miller, whom she only saw a few times in her life. | The Brinks Family
4: She went to school and became very smart so that one day she could become a school teacher.
5: And then a tall dark stranger. Richard Coleman Sanders, came into her life. He finally convinced her to be his bride!
8: And soon came precious twin boys, David Lushen and Dwight Houston on August 25, 1956. | Their daddy was crazy about them! | Myra and Grandpa loved them, too!
9: They had their first Christmas together as a family when the boys were 3 momths old. | They grew... | and grew... | Until they were big enough to be Mud Babies!
10: Then Dwain was born on January 27, 1958.
11: Last, but certainly not least, Dean was born on February 17, 1960, and the family was complete!

17: The boys became men ...and these men chose brides.
18: The grandbabies started rolling in: Ryan, Anna-Lise, Cole, Adam, Billy, Matt, Jacki, Amanda, Chase, Megan, Erin, Caitlyn and Bethanie.
20: The Mud Babies | Jacki and Amanda loved to play dress-up. | Bear Valley
21: As Grandma, she was the coolest ever! Always playful and ready to talk. | She always shopped months ahead to find that perfect gift.
24: Through the years there have been many Sanders Family gatherings.
25: Christmas time was always a favorite time to gather together for a family picture. | That was back in the days when everyone would wear what we told them to so that we could be color coordinated!
28: Ida May always had a special place in heart for her "daughters-in-love" because she had long wished for daughters. Her sons found her some "doozies." | Those daughters produced more daughters!
29: The grandchildren began to marry one by one, beginning with Ryan and his lovely ("exotic") bride, Yvonne, March 24, 2007.
30: Jacki married Marc Ortiz on May 2, 2009.
31: Then on October 17, 2010, Cole took Kaylah Marie to be his bride.

41: Whether it's fishing the Amazon, | Exploring Machu Pichu, (1996) | Taking a helicopter ride in Hawaii, (1994) | Sharing good conversation and a cup of coffee with the Campbells in Hawaii, (1995) | Making friends with sea turtles in Hawaii, (1998) | Or just hanging out at the beach with her best buddies! (1998) | She just loves the adventure of life!
43: Cruises to Alaska, Mexico, trips to Yosemite, sailing the Great Mississippi - She loves it all!!
44: She even loved the car shows with Everette and Wanda Rankins. | And who knew she was a cowgirl at heart! | Whatever it took to keep up with that man of hers!
45: No matter how her hair looked when she took that helmet off!! | They rode from Manteca, California to Hattiesburg, Mississippi to visit their new grandbabies!
46: But with all the things she loves, she only has one True love - her "sweet, humble, patient," funny husband.
