1: Hotel Ambassade, with our top floor window overlooking the Herengracht Canal; Chippy turning the corner at our street, walking to the bakery where he loved to get his breakfast (across another canal/bridge;
2: Above, the Rjuksmuseum and its garden area; middle pictures, what's for sale at the open-air market; top right, an historic church tower; bottom right, signage and special door handles at button shop - yes, all they sold were fabulous buttons!
3: Aaaahh - eating! Left top & middle, restaurant on Queen's Night; above middle and right, eating al fresco; bottom left corner and and directly left, the bakery shop, with special door handle and loaded shelves as seen through window.

10: Keukenhaof, where they plant twice a year to please the eye for several months!
13: Water elements, windmill, statues, sun worshippers, kiddies splashing, and even bikes add extra pizzazz!!!
14: Die Sweine Hotel, with our room in red brick building across the canal; dragon- formed bench; 2 views of breakfast area of Hotel; nearby garden statuary. | Tiny BRUGE, with more canals and greenery!

16: BRUSSELS - hotel lobby; Pieta, rubbed for good luck; shop door; chandelier in restaurant; open air concert in main square, with young Russian | playing our favorite -Rachmaninoff Piano Con. p; | Bread display, and one of many alleys filled with restaurants & waiters beckoning you to try their mussels.
