FC: The Lonely Gypsy
A long time ago, before Columbus discovered America, gypsies roamed the land of Romania. With these gypsies was a young boy named Fonso.
Fonso loved to play with his family and all his friends, but the thing he enjoyed most was singing and playing music with his mother. | Fonso's mother was a great dancer and musician. She would always sing him his favorite song before he went to bed.
No matter how restless he'd be from the fear of not knowing how long he'd remain in this place before having to move again, the song his mother sings him before bed always puts him right to sleep.
One day while Fonso was out playing hide and seek with his friends, he fell asleep under a big apple tree. | When he woke up he returned to his home where he couldn't find his mom or anyone at all. Fonso became very scared and wondered where all of his friends and family could have gone.
Gypsies loved to roam, so Fonso set out on a journey to find his people. He packed plenty of food and dry clothes and began to walk south. | David was singing Fonso's song! | After walking for a long time, Fonso came across a giant man with a beard named David, who was lighty strumming a song on his guitar that sounded oddly familiar.
Fonso then asked, "How do you know that song?" David replied, "An old gypsy lady taught it to me, she said she used to play it for her son and she seemed very sad." "THAT'S MY MOTHER!" Fonso exclaimed. "Where did she go?" David told him that they were headed south. "Will you teach me how to play it?" Fonso asked shyly. He taught young Fonso the chords to strum out. As Fonso stood up continue his search for his mother, David handed him his guitar. | "Go, my son. Find your mother by the power of music."
Fonso began his journey south, guitar at his side, ready to take on the world.
Now Fonso was headed south and it began to get hotter, but no matter how tired or how hot he'd get, he'd play the song and continue walking, hoping to find his mom. He was exhausted and dehydrated, ready to give up his journey.
When suddenly he came across a massive city were they were having a grand parade. | Fonso didnt know how his mother would hear the song with all the noise and he begain to worry if he would ever find his mom.
Then Fonso spotted a little stage with a small crowd. Without thinking, Fonso rushed to the stage and began to play his mother's song. People would walk by, stop to listen, and before you know it, the crowd grew.
Fonso anxiously scanned the crowd for any signs of a familiar face. He noticed a person darting through the crowd. Then she asked, "Fonso, my son, where were you? We thought you were in the wagon." "I was sleeping under an apple tree," he replied.
They were both extremely happy to be reunited again and they both went out to enjoy the festival and listen to the music of other people. Fonso later became a famous musician and his family and friends toured the country.
 The end.
