1: Sleepy Girl | January
2: Avery's First Dance Class
3: Avery tried her first dance class at Dance Perfections in January. They had a combination of tap, ballet, and tumbling. After about 3 classes she decided it just wasn't for her. We will try again some other time!
4: Thanks to our friend Jennifer Bishop, Avery was on the cover of the Hatch Catalog. Hatch is a children's educational toy store. This catalog was sent out to thousands of customers! | February
5: Tea Party ! | In February Avery sat all her babies out and had her first tea party!
7: In February Daisy joined our family. Given to us by Philip and Teresa Fulp, she was just 1 year old and a perfect match for our family
9: One of many sleepovers.....
12: Boone started riding to preschool with us every morning. Shauna dropped him off around 7:30, then he and Carter would have breakfast and watch cartoons together until time to leave. | March
15: For the last 2 years we have gone to Tractor Supply to buy baby ducks to raise and put in the pond down the road. Daisy was very interested in them for all the wrong reasons!

33: By the end of the summer Carter was jumping off the diving board with no belt, and had learned how to dive!
35: A | Avery got her ears pierced. She was so brave. My little girl is growing up.
36: 4th of July! Lewisville, NC | We brought all the fixins' to have a cookout, only to find out that we could not use a grill. So we bought hamburgers and hot dogs from the local church that were just as good! When it got dark we broke open the light sticks and of course Judy got the only one that would not work!

40: Carter and Avery were planning a joint birthday party in September, so on August 18th we had a simple get together with family at Avery's choice of restaurant...Chick-Fil-A, of course!

43: Family Fun | Carter found a $10 bill while walking down the beach! What a lucky guy! Although Avery didn't think so.......
44: We took a sunset dinner cruise on the Belle of Topsail. It was so much fun riding up and down the Intercoastal Waterway and seeing all the beautiful homes and wildlife. We even saw dolphins!
46: Carter's First Day of Kindergarten was August 8, 2010. Mrs. Montieth and Mrs. Boyles were his teachers.
49: MY SCHOOL BUS | Carter rode the bus home on his first day of school. I have never seen such a look of excitement as when he stepped off that bus!!

53: Carter and Avery had a joint birthday party in early September with all their friends. On his actual birthday Carter chose for his family to go to Burger King! This was mommy's first attempt at making a cake!

55: The weather was great till the second night when it thundered and rained all night. The tent held up fairly well, we only got a little wet considering how much it rained. The kids slept through the whole thing like they were in their own beds! | In October we took our second ever tent camping trip to the Tennessee mountains. We camped out for two nights, and explored the Tennessee mountains for 3 days.

63: In October Jon and I went to the wedding of David Northrup and Jamie Knect. Jon was standing in as the best man for Shane. It was a beautiful wedding and Jon and I had a great time in Florida.
64: Pumpkin Patch at Maplesprings UMC. This is a fall field trip that Ms. Dee's class takes every year. Avery had such a wonderful time looking at all the pumpkins and picked out just the right one!
66: Skating for the 1st Time! | Maddie Sparks' Birthday Party October 2010 | Larry had just had surgery on his hip a few days before the party!

69: Fall Days Are Fun Days | Once we started getting to the bottom of Avery's pumpkin we realized that it was rotten! Yuck! But it still made a great Jack-O-Lantern!
70: This year, Carter dressed up as Iron Man, and Avery was a Southern Belle. Kyndall was Snow White.

87: It is a tradition for us to put out reindeer food and cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve. Silly Avery wanted to eat all of Santa's cookies!
88: The main items on the kids' Santa lists this year were Toy Story 3 items. Santa brought Avery a Jessie doll, a set of Toy Story figurines, and a Fur Real Pup that walks and talks. Carter got a Woody Doll, R/C Buzz Lightyear and an R/C car. This along with a stocking full of candy and little toys and the kids were as happy as elves!
90: Some would call it a white Christmas! On Christmas Day around 12 it started snowing really hard, and it didn't let up till the next morning. I think we ended up getting about 3 or 4 inches total! 2010 was the year we had the most snow we have ever had. The kids definitely got some good use out of those new pants and boots!
