50: Dear Mom and Dad, When I was a little girl, I always felt like a wild horse running free. I felt secure, happy, and ready for adventure. You gave me the freedom to be this way....thank you for your love, honesty, gentle guidance and friendship. I would also like you to know that I am one of the luckiest people on earth. I feel so happy with my life....you are the reason I feel this way. John and I now have our families - three great children and three precious grandchildren...you are the foundation for our family. I thank God for YOU! With gratitude and love, Pam | Mom & Dad, Thank you for the lifetime of sacrifices you have made for us kids. You have provided great memories and life lessons that I cherish to this day. I remember as a child thinking I had the best, most loving parents in the world, and I still think that way today. I can only hope to have been as good a parent as you were for us, as I learned from the best! Love, Scott
51: Dear Mom & Dad, I want to thank you so much for being such great parents! I never had one moment in my life that I didn't feel unconditional love from you. You both absolutely modeled what a person of integrity looked like. You are both kind, honest, compassionate, content, and hard working and you taught me these things. Mom, one of your friends told me you are the nicest person she ever knew. You often tell me how much you prayed for me when I was sick and how happy you are that I am doing so well. Thank you for your prayers and sharing your faith, it means a lot. You are an incredible example of a loving mother. Dad, when I was sick you asked the doctor what you could do for me. The doctor suggested you buy me a paraffin bath which you bought for $50. I couldn't believe that sacrifice you made. These last few years have been a blessing in one way, in that we have seen you be an incredible example of a man who loves his wife and will do anything for her. I am constantly amazed at your attention to birthdays and everything else you do. You are truly a person of great character and a great example to your children and grandchildren. Thank you both for always making our family a priority. Even as a child, I always felt so grateful to God for the blessing of loving parents. I love you, Sheila | train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it...proverbs 22:6
