5: Impromptu Peach Picking A sunny Saturday suddenly turned into a peaching picking extravaganza complete with Grandpa feeding his first-born grandchild to a Spinosaurus! | Brooks employed the double-basket technique. | A Northwoods Summer | Noelle's presence was both a life-saver and an absolute joy! | Can we go to the lake again? | The kids & mama headed to Steve and Wendy's. We beached, napped, and played Mr. Potato Head.

10: Brooks and Emily, Kim and Jamie, Steve's sister and brother and their families all made it up for Charity's two-year-old birthday party and hayride. What a great time! Steve and I took on the resort this summer! We have many stories to tell. Steve's big project was renovating the Green Cottage. One of our fun family projects was welcoming some new cows to our family. Far left: College students from our church helped us put on a "Live Nativity" at our Town Hall. Li'l Red helped us out, as well as a sheep and a goat from the nearby Lakewood Zoo. Ellie served as our Baby Jesus (in Pink). :)
11: Charity and Ellie enjoy some story-time Far Right: Ellie hikes up high with Daddy on a fall trip a few hours north of us. Charity in her helmet, on the town hall's ice rink with Daddy Ellie joins our family March 31, 2011. Charity loves "the BAY-be"! Charity goes ice-fishing with Daddy Ellie falls asleep in a safe, warm place.
12: A Wedding in the Back Pasture | 10.1.11 | Noelle made signs to guide people down to the yard. They turned out awesome! | The tradition continued with Elijah and Sammy riding down in a wagon. | The yard looked absolutely amazing.
