1: Jeremiah, It's hard to believe that you are now seven years old. You are such a sweet boy and you have a soft heart. My prayer for you is that you continue to serve the Lord with your whole heart. I was so proud of you on July 4th when you were leaving to go see fireworks you put your Bible in your backpack and said you were taking it to tell people about God. 4: March You love having a baby sister and you are a big helper most of the time. Sara is a good baby and so happy most of the time. She is a lot like you were as a baby.

8: A Visit to the Farm This year we went to the farm for part of Easter vacation. We had a lot of nice weather which was nice for a change. You got to "help" Granddaddy and Uncle David drive the tractor. You always love watching the cows and just roaming around the farm.
11: First Shooting Experience | This is the 22 that Mr. Hammonds gave you for your very own. You did very well with your aim and with safety.

22: Sara got sick and I had to leave to go home and change the two of us. I didn't get to see you receive your diploma or do your speaking part. I heard you did a great job.

25: Your first broken bone On the second day of summer vacation you fell off the side of our 4 foot above ground pool. Dr. Hammond was staying with us and happened to be here. You cried a bit unlike you, and so I told you to go see the Dr. He said we needed to get it x-rayed. Sure enough he was right.! You had fractured your radial head. You had it fixed at CHKD and you were off and running. It didn't slow you down much at all. We had a waterproof cast put on before out trip up north.

28: The Crysler Museum Portsmouth Va | You were excited to meet Curious George and see the exhibit. You had the opportunity to pet your first snake and rabbit along with some other things. We had a great day together as a family.

32: Camping in the Yard Daddy bought a new tent and decided to try it out. It didn't take long for Daddy and Mr. Hammonds to set it up. You boys decided to sleep in the tent that night. You and Andrew had a hard time getting to sleep but once asleep you slept all night.

34: Our Summer Vacation Up North In July we traveled to Manitoulin Island Ontario to Vacation with your McClain Grandparents and Wilson Great Grandparents. Daddy's family has gone every year and this year he was so excited to take you, Andrew, & Sara. We rode the Chi-Cheemaun to the island. Grandma & Pap-Paw were already there and they came to meet us at the ferry. You were so surprised!
35: Best Catch of the Day! | Pap-Paw even let you drive the boat
36: Swimming with Pap-Paw | You said swimming in the lake and fishing were your two favorite things you got to do. We went out on a paddle boat and we convinced you to jump in and swim part way back with Pap-Paw.

38: You made a little friend and you named him Chippie. You sat so quietly waiting for him to come eat peanuts out of your hand. | You were so excited to catch fish. On one of your trips out on the lake you caught the biggest fish.!
39: Pap-Paw took you and Andrew to the little town of Kagawong You went to the candy store, Bridal Veil Falls, and the big checker board. | Back at Pap-Paw and grandma's house. We got to see Uncle Mark for a short time.
41: Uncle Jake, Aunt Rachel, William & Bethany came to visit. We took our usual trip to the beach and you had a lot of fun playing with your friends. | Talking to Grandma Lane on Skype
42: Andrew's party was extra special because your friends Bethany & William were able to be here. His cake was was made by our neighbor and everyone loved it. | Andrew's Birthday Party
43: A Visit to the Farm In August I took you children to Pennsylvania to the Lair's farm. You had a great time as normal. You loved playing with your cousins Grace & Ethan and sightseeing on the farm. We got to see baby Ben for the first time. Uncle David took you for a ride on the four wheeler and did fireworks with us.

49: Jockey's Ridge Nags Head NC | This marks the place of your first bee sting. I'm pretty sure it was a hornet but whatever it was you were pretty upset.
50: Korbin got a jeep and you and Andrew loved riding it this summer. On this particular day you thought Sara would like a ride and you were right. She loved it and so did you. She looked like such a big girl riding around. You were a good big brother and helped her get her seatbelt on. | August fun
51: Sara turns 1 | We spent most of Sara's birthday getting ready for hurricane Irene which was supposed to pound the Hampton Roads area. You helped me make the cupcakes, but we didn't celebrate her birthday till the next day. This was an experience for all of us. We spent the day inside listening to the pounding rain and being without power for several hours. Thankfully the hurricane wasn't as bad as had been expected.

54: Getting Back To Nature
55: dDaddy took you camping for your birthday. You had been asking to go camping for so long so we decided to surprise you. We had bought a tent earlier in the summer. Daddy picked you up at school and told you that you were going somewhere special. You had a great time even though it was wet and rainy the whole time. You saw a lot of deer and beautiful mountains.
56: Happy 7th Birthday Jeremiah | Celebrating with Granddaddy and Grandma Lair
57: Celebrating with neighbors and friends from school. You wanted a guinea pig and a bay blade and you got both, You named the guinea pig cinnamon. You had a great party and our friends were so generous to you.
58: GOAL! | Fall Season | Grandma enjoyed being able to go to your game and you loved having her there. | Coach Barry was an excellent coach. He was so dedicated to helping you boys learn the game

60: A turkey candy project at school right before you got out for the Thanksgiving break. Yummy!
61: This year we stayed home for Thanksgiving. It was nice to just relax and be together. We had a great weekend and did some yard work to help others.
