1: For Nathan's 5th grade concert, he was selected to participate in World Drumming. They learned how to follow the beat conducted and the sounds of drums from different parts of the world.

3: On President's Day, 2010, Tom had the day off and we went with Angel, Julia and Christian to Elm Creek for some snow tubing FUN. We also invited Kailey and Carter to come along with us. The weather was perfect and we had a great day. | Christian, Carter & Nathan | Tired boys?

5: In March of 2010, we took the kids to Spirit Mountain for a day. It was a warm day and the snow was like mashed potatoes! Nathan snowboarded and the rest of us skied. 7: CLOWN DAY Tyler - Kindergarten 2010 | Tyler had Clown Day at school. We borrowed a clown costume from The DeWolfe's for him to wear. He looked great!
8: Flooding Crow River | March - 2010:The warm, spring weather arrived and stayed, which caused a very rapid thaw. The Crow River was over it's banks for a few weeks.
9: Mike Vallely Autograph Signing | Nathan wanted to get Mike V's autograph at the Zumiez store in MOA. We brought Swanson's with us. There was a long line to wait in, but it was worth it! The boys were pumped!

11: Coloring eggs is an Easter tradition. No two eggs ever look the same! We enjoy it every year!
12: "The Easter Bunny came by today and left surprises along his way. Colorful eggs are all around. With baskets in hand we search the ground. Hiding in places here and there Easter eggs are everywhere."
13: Easter 2010 April 4th The kids were up early hunting for Easter eggs. After we got ready, we went to church and entertained family at our house. It was a beautiful day!

17: Make a Wish! | Tyler had a Mario themed birthday party. Lots of fun!

19: May 5, 2010, Tyler turned 6 years old. Unfortunately, he wasn't feeling well and had missed a few days of school. We made the best of it, though! His tummy was feeling a little better, but not well enough to eat the taco casserole he had requested or cake & ice cream. So -- we made pancakes instead! It was a little more tame and still a type of "cake" so we put a candle in it and sang "Happy Birthday"!
20: My pride and joy. I love you, Nathan, Kelsey & Tyler, more than you know. I am so blessed that God brought you into my life. Thanks for making everyday so special!

22: Tyler's Kindergarten Field Trip | Sam Meier, Riley Larson, Tyler, Matt Larson & Logan Gusse | I feel so fortunate to have been able to chaperone Tyler's field trip. 23: After we went to Como Zoo, we went to The Children's Museum. When we arrived, we ate our bagged lunch and then went about seeing the exhibits at the museum. It's always a fun place to visit. We were a little rushed for time, but the kids had a lot of fun! Tyler really enjoyed the water area! Kids LOVE getting wet!!! | The Children's Museum

25: LAST DAY OF SCHOOL 2010 | We went with Swanson's and DeWolfe's to the Delano Park after school. Fun, Fun!!

27: For Tom's 40th Birthday, we gave him the leaf blower he'd been wanting. I also bought him a dinner cruise on Lake Minnetonka for the two of us to enjoy. | 40
28: Basswood Tree Clean-up | On June 25th, Tom and I went on the Al & Alma's Boat Cruise I gave him for his birthday. As we were driving to the boat, storms were approaching. When we arrived, the storm hit, but it was short lived and we still went on the cruise. Just as we were about to leave the dock, our neighbor, Brent Swanson, called and said we lost a tree in the storm that had just gone through. This is what we came home to!
29: Strawberry Picking Apple Jack Orchard 2010 | We have an annual tradition of going to pick strawberries when they are in season. We make shortcake, jam, pie... But the best part is eating the berries straight from the plant! YUM!!
30: Grandma's 89th Birthday | For Grandma's 89th birthday, the family got together to have brunch at Wedgewood Cove in Albert Lea. It was nice for us to be able to get together and celebrate with her. 33: Kelsey and I had pedicures together as one of her birthday gifts. We went to Q Nails in Buffalo and had such a fun time together! Since the 4th of July was a couple of days away, we had fireworks painted on our toes.

35: Isabella & Kelsey | After the parade, we went to Karl and Carmen's. Since the 4th was on a Sunday this year, Edina had their parade on Saturday, July 3rd. 36: Twins Game | Minnesota Twins vs. Chicago White Sox
37: On Sunday, July 18, 2010, Tom and I decided to go to a Twins game. Nathan and Kelsey were up north with DeWolfe's and Tyler spent the afternoon with Grandpa Lyle and Grandma Cindy. There were only "Standing Room Only" tickets left, but we were okay with that. We walked around a lot. | The Twins were behind 3-6 in the bottom of the 9th inning. People started leaving and we found a place to sit. They rallied back and scored four runs to win the game 7-6. It was very fun and exciting to watch. We also enjoyed seeing the new Target Field. Impressive stadium.
38: Baseball 2010 | Nathan enjoyed another season of baseball, despite the team's losing record. It was a rough season for the boys, but they gave it their all and had fun with the journey. The team's coaches were Ron Harkins and Gordon Hopkins.

40: Como Zoo The kids and I went with Angel and her kids to Como Zoo for the day. It was a beautiful day! We had lots of fun seeing the animals, watching the Sparky show and going through the butterfly garden. It was one last, fun outing before school started.

43: Kelsey participated in Cheerleading Camp the week of Homecoming. The high school cheerleaders taught the girls fun, new cheers and they performed during halftime at the Homecoming football game.

46: Apple Jack Orchard | Our family tradition every fall is to go apple picking. Apple Jack is very close to home, so we often go there. This year, the apple crop was sparse due to a late spring freeze that destroyed the apple blossoms. We still had fun walking around on a beautiful fall day. We also picked a few raspberries, watched a pumpkin weighing contest and spent some time down by the Crow River.

50: Halloween Party Medina Ballroom! | Kelsey and I went with Angel & Julia and Melanie & Kailey to a Halloween Party at the Medina Ballroom. We danced, ate and had lots of fun.

52: Happy 12th Birthday, Nathan! | For Nathan's birthday, he invited Christian and Carter to go to 3rd Lair. Afterwards, they came to our house for a sleepover. The next day, Tom and Angel took the kids to MOA (in a snowstorm) for the Plan B Autograph Signing.

58: Christmas Morning The kids are always so excited to get up and see what's under the tree. This year was no exception! Our family tradition continued with opening gifts and then breakfast: Santa pancakes and cinnamon rolls. Merry Christmas!

62: On New Year's Eve, 2010, we invited The DeWolfe's and The Swanson's over. The kids made their own mini pizzas and the adults enjoyed soup and other yummy food and drinks! We also played some games and enjoyed the company of great friends. We are looking forward to a wonderful 2011!!
