Greetings from our family, We are so thankful for your selfless decision to bring your child into this world. We know you had a choice and are so thankful you chose life. It takes a strong and loving person to make that choice, and we will always value your sacrificial love for your child and talk about it within our family often. We are grateful and excited for the chance to share a little bit of our family with you. We are a fun family of three. We love God, each other, family, friends, and life. We hope these few pages will portray that, and how much we will love your child if you allow us the privilege to include him or her in our family. We want nothing more than to be able to give your child the kind of environment where he or she can grow and develop into the type of person who enjoys life and loves others more than themselves. We always knew adoption was in both of our futures. We talked about it early and often during our dating. Dan has long had a heart for adoption and worked for adoption causes while a Congressional staffer. Sunshine is adopted, so adoption has always had a special place in her heart. We have been praying about it since we got married, and we feel without a doubt that God is calling us to grow our family through adoption. We are trusting God that he will equip us to parent more children, and we are excited for our family to grow. We have no idea how hard this decision you are trying to make really is. We can’t imagine the pain that comes when being faced with this situation, but we are praying for you. We want nothing more than for you and your baby to be supported and loved regardless of what you decide. Even though we haven’t met you, we pray for wisdom and comfort for you as you struggle through this difficult time. Love, Dan, Sunshine and Amelia

If you look up love in the dictionary it would have a picture of Dan. I never knew what real love was until I met Dan. He is patient, kind, humble, selfless, he keeps no records of my wrongs. He loves me better than anyone ever has. I can trust him and depend on him. He is an amazing husband. I thought I couldn't love him more, but as time passes and we meet trials of all kinds I find I love him more and more. He is the most extraordinary father. He has loved Amelia since the moment he knew she existed. I could not ask for a better man to spend my life with or to raise my children. | Dan through Sunshine's eyes.......
Dan LOVES: being a husband and father, spending time with his friends, building things, cooking, wood working, peanut butter, the ocean, traveling, and all things techie. And just so you know he is really funny!
Sunshine through Dan's eyes. . . | From the moment I decided to ask Sunshine to marry me, I have loved her more and more each day. Each day, I marvel in the love and devotion she has to me, Amelia, our future children, her friends, family, and Christ. She is. . . fun-loving; encouraging; a sweet friend; devoted; loving; caring; nurturing; and, most importantly, a better wife and mother of my children than I deserve. I love Sunshine more than myself.

She is now 17 months old and on track developmentally. She has brought us so much joy. There isn't a day that goes by that she does not make us laugh.
