FC: Atticus Finch | By Bailey Darby and Sarah Klein Forth Hour
The names Finch, Atticus Finch. I mean no harm and want no harm. I am just here to give and be the good man to the people i love. Lemme tell ya a little about myself. I have two wonderful children and thank myself everyday for what they have given me. They really make my world go around. A few years ago, i lost my wife.I really mean it when i say that you don't know how grateful you should be for your life until you really lose something that important to you. She will always be in my heart. Now i live in a little Southern town called Maycomb, Alabama. It is a hot town and will really make an impression on you.
Scout has a mind of her own and is very independent and had a mind of her own just like her father. She tries her best to heave when she is hanging around Jem, but sometimes she tries to act too much like a boy just to fit and ends up getting into trouble. Overall i couldn't ask for a better daughter. | Scout doesn't let anybody talk smack about her family. She is very protective of both Jema and I. She is a very good reader for her age and does well in school. She is very special and important to me.
Jem is a spitting image of me and get more like me everyday. He defends his family id isn't affraid of anybody. My life would definitely not be the same without him. | Jems helps me out a lot. He is always there for Scout when i can't be. Jem knows his right from wrong.
A huge part of my life was when my wife died. It was so out of random that I didn't even believe that something could happen to me like this. I had two amazing and young children. I felt like I was on top of the world, I felt invincible to everything, and blind, like nothing could ever happen so tragic to me. But I have learned that you can no t let anything get in the way of you living your life to the fullest. Everyday tell they people you love, you love them. Don't let them feel any different. Because if life really mean as much as it should to you, Then you wouldn't let something like this drop so heavily out of the palm of your hands.
Something huge in my life has come up, and i feel that it is worth sharing. I have had the opportunity to decent a black man in trial. Now that may not sound too appealing, but i think that this is the opportunity of a lifetime. You may not know but racial discrimination is a huge problem around here in Maycomb. I have the pleasure of taking the Tom Robinson case. He is being accused of raping and physically abusing Miss Maudie. Now at the time, i didn't know what the outcome would be . But i do know that Mr. Robinson is a fine, relaxed, and happy man. i don't believe nay day that he would perform such a burden.
The ham costume Scout wore for the Halloween party that night saved her life. Hard telling where she would be today if she wasn't wearing that costume. Scout means so much to me and just though of loosing her is unbearable to think about.. The ham costume at first glance looks like an ordinary cheap homeade costume, but it really makes me stop and think how quickly things can chnge in an instant. The costume saved Scout from getting hurt or even death. It hold a very special place in my heart.. Scout was really scared that night, as was I, but we were both very thankful she was still alive: just because of a simple costume.
When working with the Tom Robbin case, i carried around all my information in my briefcase. It was very handy. I also used it for my daily work so I wouldn't have to carry the papers around.
"You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view." When I hear this quote. I think deeply of what Atticus is saying and trying to get across to the readers attention. I feel that when he says this is going for any person of any kind. Atticus is a wise and strong man. | When I read about him in the book I can tell he is the type of person he is is someone who all they really want is knowing that hey have done something good for someone at the end of the day.. But when Atticus feels for Tom Robinson in their case. I can see that he isn't looking at the outside, but this instead and what Robinson is really saying. Atticus really steps into Robinson's "shoes" to correctly see the problem and really discover the true facts about someone until you shut your eyes and look through theirs.
