FC: The Story of Perseus By Julie Meils & Elizabeth Roberts
1: There once was a King named Acrisius.
2: And he had a daughter named Danae.
3: Who had a son named Perseus.
4: And the King foresaw Perseus trying to kill him.
5: So he locked up his daughter in a bronze underground house built to hid her away.
6: And this castle had a mighty fierce dragon guarding it.
7: While she was locked up for days and hours a magical gold dust fell upon her.
8: The gold dust was Zeus coming to see her and grant her a son.
9: Once she had her son she named him Perseus.
10: Her father the King, Acrisius found out.
11: King Acrisius placed his daughter and grandson in a chest that was taken to sea and put in the water.
12: A fisherman named Dictys came and broke open the chest.
13: A man named Polydectes fell in love with Danea but not her son.
14: Perseus told Polydectes that he would cut off the Head of Medusa.
15: Medusa turned anyone that looked her in the eyes to stone.
16: Perseus sailed to Greece... then to Delphi... then to Dodona.
17: He met the three women who share one eye.
18: Perseus had to try and get Medusa alone because the other two could not be killed.
19: Perseus cut off the head of Medusa and told it back home with him.
20: On his way home Perseus fell in love with Andromeda.
21: Perseus went to Polydectes's party and turned everyone to stone with Medusa's head and then later on Perseus entered a athletic contest in the discus throwing and accidentally killed Acrisius.
