FC: The Story of Perseus By Julie Meils & Elizabeth Roberts

There once was a King named Acrisius.

And he had a daughter named Danae.

Who had a son named Perseus.

And the King foresaw Perseus trying to kill him.

So he locked up his daughter in a bronze underground house built to hid her away.

And this castle had a mighty fierce dragon guarding it.

While she was locked up for days and hours a magical gold dust fell upon her.

The gold dust was Zeus coming to see her and grant her a son.

Once she had her son she named him Perseus.

Her father the King, Acrisius found out.

King Acrisius placed his daughter and grandson in a chest that was taken to sea and put in the water.

A fisherman named Dictys came and broke open the chest.

A man named Polydectes fell in love with Danea but not her son.

Perseus told Polydectes that he would cut off the Head of Medusa.

Medusa turned anyone that looked her in the eyes to stone.

Perseus sailed to Greece... then to Delphi... then to Dodona.

He met the three women who share one eye.

Perseus had to try and get Medusa alone because the other two could not be killed.

Perseus cut off the head of Medusa and told it back home with him.

On his way home Perseus fell in love with Andromeda.

Perseus went to Polydectes's party and turned everyone to stone with Medusa's head and then later on Perseus entered a athletic contest in the discus throwing and accidentally killed Acrisius.
