3: Parallel Tracks | Columns are placed on a building for added support on the structure. The columns have to be parallel because it keeps what it is supporting balanced properly. | Parallel Columns | Railroad tracks are used for trains to transport goods and people. 7: Greek Architecture has many ties to geometry through the many geometric shapes used in buildings. The steps are made out of rectangular prisms. The top of the roof has a obtuse triangle . Also the roof is supported by cylinders to keep the building supported. All of the shapes are created with angles and lines which is associated with geometry. | Obtuse Triangle | Cylinder | Rectangular Prism
