2: The signal for a tornado is the announcement over the intercom. - Calmly move to the back of the room and away from all windows. -Sit on your hands and knees, with your head down, facing the wall. -Stay silent during the drill.
4: -You may operate equipment if you have been instructed in its use by the instructor.
6: -Electrical cords should be removed from the outlet by pulling the plug, not the cord! Do not pull on any of the computer equipment. -Monitor -Mouse -Keyboard
8: In the filing cabinets, you should always put heavy stuff on the bottom, not the top. Only open one drawer at a time.
11: Use legs to lift heavy equipment, not your back.
13: No running in the lab!
14: You should inspect your work area everyday before you get started. | You should check for the following hazards. -Flickering lights -Frayed cords. -Burning odors.
16: If you have any problems with any equipment inform your instructor. Any injury should be reported to the instructor immediately.
19: Do not move the equipment from the work station!
20: Don't roll chairs into other work stations. | No standing in the rolling chairs.
23: Keep your hands and feet to yourself at ALL times!
25: Avoid liquid spills on equipment.
26: It is very important you know where the fire extinguisher is, in case of emergency.
29: No spinning in rolling chairs.
30: Keep your eyes on loose items so that they won't get stuck in moving machines. -Printer -Shredder -Copier
33: No food or drinks in the computer lab.
34: When there is a intruder in the building you should close and lock the door, quietly move to the corner of the room, away from windows and doors.
