FC: EUROPE | Travelling | FRANCE GERMANY SWITZERLAND SPAIN ITALY CROATIA

Backpacking | ThroughEurope...! | a | this guy was entertaining

Paris First stop of our journey. Spent a few days exploring the cold windy city of Paris. We went up the Eiffel tower, walked through the famous Versailles and the Louvre looking at beautiful art, went to the Notre Dame and walked through the Luxembourg Gardens.

 Oops Hostel

Our view from the room of our hostel!

Our First day we decided to go to Versailles...

on top of | the world | seeing the city from above

We waited till night to go up the Eiffel Tower. It was so cold and windy we could barely take it. Its not as enjoyable as the movies make it look.

Walking through Paris | Gypsy Lady tried to fool me.

 Notre-Dame

 LUXEMBOURG GARDENS

 THE LOUVRE

Good-Bye Paris!! Paris to me was pretty over-whelming. We squeezed in so much in just a few days, It was hard getting adjusted to the time and always being on the go. It was so cold and windy, and the people were fast paced.

Munich, Germany Catholic Church, Bratwursts, and beer before one!!!! Me and our tour guide Aussie.

Lisa used our free beers!! They were baby ones! | Home | & | Hostel

This hostel was so nice, I think my favorite part that there was a bar. Besides the bar smelling like a hundred people who haven't showered, it was a good way to meet people.

Taking a tour in the rain

 Enjoying our tour!

 Around the town

 The Beginning of our night...

This was so much fun but hilarious at the same time... Dancing to 90's wedding music with two gay guys very dramatically. The Germans sure do love the American music.

 Our day visiting castles!

We tried to catch a horse ride, but it was taking to long... It took forever to walk up to the castle, and very tiring.

Stopping for lunch!! | Lisa and her gelato

I was so sick this day but the scenery and castles were amazing! | Bavaria, Germany! | Our tour guide!!

 Making some new friends!!!

Mountain tops, clean air, green grass with yellow flowers.... Interlaken, Switzerland

Skydiving in the Swiss Alps.... So Amazing!!!

The Ziplining Park was so much fun. I think a little scarier than skydiving though. It was cool being in the middle of the woods just being able to go where we wanted to in this park.....

During our time in Switzerland, we got to experience their way of eating out. Very slow pace and relaxed. At the end of dinner a shot and dessert is served.

I loved every minute of being in Switzerland, I was not ready to leave, I wish we would of had a few more days to really experience everything. It was so beautiful, the air was so fresh, the people were so friendly, everything was clean. I loved it!!

 BARCELONA

 being silly

 GAUDI

 GAUDI PARK!!!

 La Sagrada Familia

Besides getting lost the first night in Barcelona and getting really scared I really enjoyed my time here. It is a late city, it has excellent Paella's, graffiti was everywhere, and there were a lot of people. And I'm proud to say no one I was with had anything stolen.

 Girona, Spain Salvador Dali

 This was my favorite museum!

Rome, Italy The start of our Italy travels.... Another rainy city.

We saw dancers on the street, we went to the famous spanish steps, im in the crowd somewhere...

Our hostel we were suppose to stay at in Rome... I guess was a little creepy and we left. | We were able to stand on the floor and touch the ceiling no problem.

My horrible cheap green umbrella that did not keep me dry for 5euro

We took a bus tour traveling through the city of Rome...

Seeing, the Patheon, Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain, Coliseum, Spanish Steps.

Besides staying outside of the city and having to spend a lot of money on taxis I really enjoyed Rome. There was definitely a lot to see.

Florence, Italy | Small City with a market on every street.

Learning some handshake, this guy spoke no English!! | CREEPER ABOVE! | Getting stood up looking at our watch, being mad.... It was cold out. | Canadian Friends!!!

We needed a break from all the art museums so we decided to check out a serial killer museum and learn about all the famous killers... Pretty interesting.

Cinque Terre Riomaggiore, Manarola, Monterosso al Mare

Wish we could have stayed longer...

Venice, Italy | A city full of water.... | Gondola rides...

Our cheap version of a Gondola Ride

Courtney and I had a whole day to waste... We got ourselves lost walking randomly through parks and guessing which way we had to turn to get back.

 Plitvice National Park Croatia Beautiful!!!!

I could live here! | My favorite place of the whole trip...

 SPLIT, CROATIA

Were finally somewhere warm, we can lay out, enjoy the sun, be in the water. Croatia is beautiful! We only went to one island and that was Brac. Brac Island is known for there smooth white stones all the way through.

Croatia Pub Crawl!!! First night ever.....

 SMILES ALL NIGHT LONG!!

 Our Apartment!

 Good-Bye Split, Croatia!!

Croatia was a perfect ending of our journey. It was so nice to finally be able to relax with no agenda. Croatia is beautiful, I wish we could have toured more of it. We spent every day at the beach,it was only a 5 min walk from where we were. It was perfect!

Eating gelato, meeting strangers, living in hostels, walking along coastlines, sleeping on trains, eating authentic foods, learning transportation systems, buying groceries; It was all a great experience, despite the rainy days, getting lost, and taking trains in wrong directions. Immersing in different cultures taught us a lot and opened our eyes to a little bit more of the world around us.
