S: The Great Gatsby
FC: Jay Gatsby
1: Chapter 1... As I was standing outside that night, I looked up and saw this dark figure standing before me. A green light flashed across the water and the figure disappeared. Later I went back into the house and I overheard two women talking about the "Valley of Ashes". As I begin to walk around again I noticed how Myrtle and Tom were connecting. As I roamed more and more, I ran into a guy name Nick. Nick seems like a pretty nice man and I would love to hang out with him more. -Jay Gats
2: Chapter 2... Today I found out that Myrtle has been cheating on her husband. I figured that something was strange with her. I don't think that Mr. Wilson has not yet found out about the affair yet, but I think that it would devastate him. Nick had told me that Tom had hit Myrtle, how can she keep that a secret -Jay Gats
4: Chapter 3... Today I decided to host a party. I began to send out invitations and I started to wonder how many people would actually show up. So when it was time for the party, there was a pretty good crowd. I didn't really want to talk to anyone, but I did anyway. As I was wondering around, someone stopped me. It was Nick. He and Jordan were standing there talking and began to thank me for inviting him to the party. Jordan and Nick had lost a while back. They weren't to sure how they may have felt about each other, but they were glad to run back into each other. -Jay Gats
6: Chapter 4... There are so many unnecessary rumors going around about me that I just get so tired of hearing about them, people would say things like I've killed a man, that I was a German spy in the war, and like Jay Gatsby isn't my real name. How crazy are these people? Fitzgerald was at my party making a list of all the people there. I don't know the purpose of that but whatever. I began to open up to Nick about my past, I just told him about my life in the war and Daisy, I don't know if he believed me or not. An associate of mine, Meyer Wolfsheim, who's also an infamous gambler and takes responsibility for fixing the World Series all he talked about was nonsense. Daisy and I reunited finally and she began to tell me about her relationship with her husband. She didn't seem too happy, she also told me that she was selfish and that she'd rather focus more on her appearance than her marriage. After that I decided to take it a little further, so I invited her to my house to try and impress her. -Jay Gats
8: Chapter 5... All day I thought about Daisy, and many ways to try and win her back. I began to deliver so many goods and services to Nick's house because I asked Nick to help me put together a little something so that I can get Daisy to come. He agreed. I began to set up, but the rain caused me to not get everything set up and done for the little event. I began to worry about how it will turn out. I had so much to do so I asked Nick to do a little work for me because I knew how much he makes and I feel like he can use the extra money. I don't think that Nick really liked or understood why. Later on when Daisy got here, I took her out for a little walk on the pier and I begin to tell her how I used to stare at the green light up on the hill, while I was thinking about her. As we walked back to the house, I hear the phone ringing. I ran to answer, and it was from the people that were trying to buy alcohol from me. -Jay Gats
11: Chapter 6... Today Nick and I were out and somehow my past comes up again. I told him everything being very truthful. Later, I began to find out about Fitzgerald telling my story too. He told me that he decided to tell because he found out that everyone else was being truthful, so he felt like everything about should come out also. When Tom and I met today, we had a pretty good meeting, well it turned out better than I thought. On the way home I began to think about my past. If only I could go back and repeat some things, except doing them right this time, I would. All I've been thinking about lately is Daisy. I hate that she ran off and got married, but I guess that's what I get for just up and leaving her too.
12: Chapter 7... Daisy and I are becoming very serious now, so I had to fire all of my servants to prevent all of the gossip or rumors. I'm starting to feel like I need to tell Tom, but I just can't. We have plans to take a trip out to New York later, so I hope that it goes well. When everyone had arrived for lunch, everything was great. Tom got up after everyone was done and led us out the door. He was kind of upset at Daisy because he's beginning to sense what's going on. While we were loading up in the car Daisy and I had to split and the gaze that we made put everything out. I'd hoped that no one had saw it, but Tom did. From then on I knew that there would be trouble. Neither of them are happy, so I can't see why it's such a big deal. On the way back I happen to see a woman run into the rode, I yelled at Daisy, but she only sped up. Right before my eyes, I'd witnessed a murder. Myrtle was gone. Daisy fell over into my lap as I questioned what and why did something so tragic just happen.
