FC: The Blackout of My Life
A normal Friday night it all began. A day I can never forget. I wake up still agonized enough I can barely speak. Everyone constantly confirming me they are so sorry, and they know how it feels; truth is that they will never know the pain I am in.
Of that Friday night, simply making plans to the movies. It was a dark night,in which the moon was just a slither and the air had a slight mid October breeze. Rarely any clouds out with a burning fire smell.
I arrived home late, unaware of what had occurred in my house that night. It all began so suddenly. I was having a great time with my friends after seeing Paranormal Activity, not knowing I would be rather horrified later on. Mr. Cain dropped me off at my house which in my delight was right next to a Subway station, an old, unused, subway station from back in the days. I came home late and found all the doors locked, so like any other human being I knocked on the rusty knocker of the door. But nothing happened. I stood and waited, and waited, and waited; still nothing. I knocked again, for it was getting late and a storm was arising.
Then in a flicker the attic light snapped on and I could see a figure. A tall, unknown, figure staring out to where I was standing. This figure was one I have only seen in my nightmares. Frantically I hid fast, and all of a sudden a world I grew up in, became a parallel universe. The door suddenly opened, and I snuck in, only to find my family dead. The figure shut the lights off in a split second and began running. I could hear thuds on the stairwells, and I shut the door fast running outside. Abruptly the front door opened, and there the figure was standing right in front of me. In a jerk I ran. I ran like it was the end of the world, and I ran wherever my legs would take me, as teardrops were flooding my face. Unfortunately my legs brought me down the wet stairs of the subway station. It was lighted slightly luckily, but creepy as ever. I had heard many scary story of lives taken down there which is why it was closed down. I try not to believe it.
Out of breath, and wet from my tears and the storm I hid behind a large pole frantically catching my breathe. Only to find this figure right behind me. Like most scary stories the lights went out. | But this was not just a scary story, it is also how my life ended. | The black figure shadow came so close I could feel him breathing on me and so I grabbed as hard as I could around his neck. But it disappeared.
The lights went on, and all I saw was my best friend, lying there dead as I had seen her a few years ago after her tragic death in a car accident. Was this reoccurring? Why am I put through such torture again?
In an instant the figure was back, my friend gone. A loud echoing noise was heard, "It's your turn now." The lights went out, as did my life. The lights went on again, and there my body was laying there, dead.
