BC: Domestic policy is an area of public policy which concerns laws, government programs, and administrative decisions which are directly related to all issues and activity within a nation's borders

1: In the start of the civil rights movement, it was a combined effort but by the 60's it became mostly a black endeavor .

2: Why give people more of a reason to dislike you? Thats why blacks took the non-violent way such as fighting in courts.

5: The civil rights movement was one of a kind because people took on vital roles to change society as we know it.

6: The targeted areas of the movement were Government, Business, society & Education

13: The Soviet Union was a Communist country, which put the needs of the state ahead of personal human rights and was ruled by a dictator. The USA was a capitalist democracy which valued freedom and feared Communism

15: The U.S Agreed to help the Soviet Union out by giving them supplies as long as they let Europe have free elections

16: On top of that the Soviets were not happy because they wanted the U.S to invade Europe sooner but we were not prepared.

18: By 1948 Eastern Europe was controlled by communist.

21: When Mikhail Gorbachev assumed the reins of power in the Soviet Union in 1985, no one predicted the revolution he would bring.Gorbachev introduced the policies of glasnost and perestroika to the USSR.
