S: Seasons of Change

FC: My Name is Bailey Kappmeier The origin of Bailey is English. The meaning is a crown official or officer of the king; or keeper of a royal building; or a person of high rank. It fits my personality in that I feel like a princess sometimes!

2: Introduction Bailey Kappmeier is a 13-year-old girl who spends her summers on the Jersey Shore and her school year in Sparta, New Jersey. In her free time, she loves to cheer and hang out with her best friend, Lauren. Bailey lives with her mom, Aunt Lola, cousin, Sarah, and her sisters, Kayla and Avery, during the week. She spends her weekends at her dad's house with her sisters. She loves her dog, Brady.

3: 10-Minute Write (Revisited) One morning I woke up and opened my eyes to see Britney Spears posters all over my room. Since when was I in love with Britney Spears? My comforter wa,s camouflage and my walls were forest green. I thought I was crazy, because I always had a pink room with Justin Bieber posters. As I went downstairs, I overheard my parents discussing Erik's grades in school and how they were proud of hi.m. Who the heck was Erik -- a long lost cousin of mine? When I got to the kitchen, my parents told me how they were just talking about how great I was doing in school. My name is Bailey, not Erik! I guess I am a guy, oh well. I went upstairs and put my football jersey on -- apparently I'm the quarter-back. I got to school and my friend, Josie, said hello to me. I have friends that are girls! Wow! I can get used to this! At lunch my friends and I ate like pigs and were still hungry. After school I did all my homework and got ready for the big game. At the game I scored 4 touchdowns. After the game I got home and went to bed. When I woke up, I had Justin Bieber posters and pink walls. I was a girl again.

7: Holidays at Home | Every Christmas Eve my family goes to my Aunt Lola's house. We spend it with my Aunt Lola and her family and my Nana and Pop Pop. Aunt Lola makes a big, fancy dinner and my Nana and Mommy bake delicious desserts. We eat, play games and exchange presents. It is my favorite party of the holiday..

8: This is Where I Want to Go Dear Bailey, Hi! It's me, I mean you. Its our 30th birthday today. Yes, we are celebrating that, but also the fact that we have accomplished most of our goals. We married our pre-school sweetheart, Christian, and have beautiful twin daughters, Brooke and Lauren. We live in a posh, high-rise apartment in uptown, New York City. After finishing school in Paris in 2020, we were hand-picked to be an apprentice to Giada DeLaurentis, learning all of the best techniques. Five years later, we opened our own dessert shop in the City, "Sunshine Sweets." Our second shop will open in six months downtown. We have many reasons to celebrate this year! We are so blessed to have been able to balance our beautiful family and our career. Happy birthday, Bailey! Love, Me
