S: Seasons of Change
FC: Johnson Family 2011
1: It was a wonderful year for our family filled with wonderful memories. Luke turned 1, Clara turned 3 and Kaylee turned 6. Clara started preschool and Kaylee had a big change starting first grade all day. Luke and Mommy enjoy some fun one on one time while the girls are at school. Kaylee has grown so much this year and is learning to read so well. She loves to play circus roly poly with dad in the morning and of course still loves her ladybugs. She is our garden girl and could spend hours playing with or arranging flowers. Clara loves her horses and could play with them all day. Her favorite is to have daddy be her horse. She is learning so much in preschool and is getting so good at writing her name. She also loves to sing and we love listening to her songs even though half the words are made up. So cute! Luke is as busy as ever. He loves balls and cars and especially airplanes (ba ba's). He can't get enough of dancing either. Whenever music comes on he grabs mom or dad and wants to dance for hours. He melts right into us. So sweet! Kev and I feel so blessed and adore our sweet family. We can't wait for the next year of fun to begin!

6: Our beautiful Clara's 3rd Birthday We had big party plans until everyone ended up sick but we still had a fun party at home between the runny noses and fevers. Clara changed her mind about a million times on what type of cake she wanted and finally decided on a pink elephant. She is the sweetest thing. We adore her.

16: Time for fireworks. Our cautious girls even held a sparkler for the first time and then rushed back to the safe porch.

You've given so many throughout the years. And touched our hearts and brought joyous tears. You've sewn and stitched and spent countless hours bringing treasured quilts to our endless baby showers. We've wrapped our infants in blankets of love. Our newborn babes, fresh from Heaven above. This quilt is now given from us to you as a thank you for all the good that you do. We appreciate all the time you have spent You are loved and adored, truly Heaven sent." (Poem by Melanie)
57: they lived happily ever after | Sprinkling reindeer food on the grass on Christmas Eve.
58: We had a wonderful Christmas this year. Christmas Eve we had a yummy dinner with Grandma & Grandpa Dildine and even got to open an early present at their house. Then we came home sprinkled our reindeer food on the grass. We got a cookie plate ready for Santa and chocolate milk with marshmallows and read a Christmas story and then it was off to bed. Kaylee has never gone to bed so fast in her whole life. We got everyone to sleep and Kev started on the train table assembly. Yikes! It took forever. We finally finished that and made it to bed about 1:30 am. I thought worst case we'd get to sleep until 5:00 am which was going to be early enough but to my surprise, when Kaylee and Clara came running in saying that Santa had come, our clock said 2:15 am. Are you kidding me?! We of course had to get excited with them and then luckily got them back to bed by about 3:00 am. We all slept until Clara came and got me about 6:30. She was just too excited that Santa had brought her just what she wanted so the two of us went out and played with her new horsey, tea set and umbrella. Finally about 7:30 everyone else woke up and the craziness began. We opened presents and played until it was time to go to church. Kaylee didn't really want to leave her new toys to go but after singing with the primary program and listening to all the beautiful music she leaned over and whispered to me "I'm so glad we came to church today even though I didn't want to." That melted my heart. We came home from church and all got back in our jammies and played with our new toys the rest of the day. Jim and Valerie came for a visit followed by Brent and his family. It was such a wonderful Christmas day and so fun to spend it with our little family.
