1: Cyber-bullying is the use of the Internet and related technologies to harm other people, in a deliberate, repeated, and hostile manner. As it has become more common in society, particularly among young people, legislation and awareness campaigns have arisen to combat it

2: This is Amanda Todd"s story.

3: Amanda was a 15 year old beautiful girl. When she was 14 she started meeting people in chatrooms and became good friends with them, They talked all of time.

4: One year later Amanda made a mistake and showed her chatroom friend a provocative picture. Her "friend" sent it all over the internet. Then nobdody liked her.

5: She was quickly judged by her friends at school and started being bullied and tormented. She had to change schools.

6: Amanda never was able to get away from the bullying. That picture followed her everywhere she went. Girls and boys from school called her names and left her isolated.

8: The bullying forced her to move to a different city and change school but the teenager describes how her abusers continued to target her through Facebook. She also tells how she made a “huge mistake” and “hooked up” with a boy at school, who had a girlfriend.

9: The schoolgirl was confronted by the boy’s girlfriend and beaten up in front of a crowd of people who left her lying in a ditch. She reveals she was hospitalised following the ordeal after trying to commit suicide by drinking bleach.

11: Amanda was tormented beyond belief. She felt that there was no where to run. She made several attempts to kill herself due to all of this bullying.

13: Amanda posted a video on youtube that told her story. She made flashcards that explained what had happened that started all of the cyber bullying and what she had to deal with because of it.

14: 4 hours after posting the video, Amanda Todd took her own life.

15: Most people dont think of cyber bullying as a main issue in schools. The fact of the matter is that it can ruin and even take peoples lives. No one deserves to be bullied and mistreated even if they've made mistakes in the past. Everyone makes mistake and no one is better than the other. Stop cyber bullying today.
