FC: Ireland March 2010
Dublin Trinity College | Trin | Hotel View | Book of Kells
Looking over the bridge in Cork. Driving through the towns of Ireland on the wrong side of the street and wrong side of the car!
Rock of Cashel...first official stop once Greg finally joined the vacation.
 Blarney Castle and Blarney House
Greg and I kissed the Blarney Stone in hopes of getting the gift of gab or just because that is what we were supposed to do. Greg did this his one and only time.
Walking | Following the trail through the grounds of Blarney Castle. Many interesting things to see including witches' rituals.
We saw this beach and decided we must stop. The first of many beaches we encountered. | The water was pretty chilly.
Greg's tradition: Writing the initials of our nephews and niece in the sand.
 Dingle Island
 Touring Dingle Island. Absolutely breathtaking!!
Interesting little island. Notice Greg is eating the breakfast of champions. Good thing we bought extra spoons....they kept breaking!
Enjoying the small town St. Patrick's Day Parade. | The entire town shut down before, during, and after the parade.
The nightlife in Galway was crazy on St. Patrick's Day evening. We showed our true age since we chose to hang out with older crowds. We experienced our first and only Guinness in honor of St. Patrick's day! Not bad!
If you're enough lucky to be Irish, you're lucky enough! ~Irish Saying | Cliffs of Mohr
May your blessings outnumber The shamrocks that grow, And may trouble avoid you Wherever you go. ~Irish Blessing | The cliffs were beautiful and very windy!!!
 Awesome | Peaceful | Gorgeous | Magnificent
The Cliffs of Mohr were one of the most beautiful places we have seen and a favorite for both.
Doolin is considered one of the music meccas for Ireland. This band was so good, we bought a CD. Geraldine was our waitress for lunch and our entertainment for the evening. The bar was packed. Good times with good people.
Allwee Cave The large picture shows the "praying hands" that were formed out of the rock.
Greg is waiting for the bird show. Good thing we got there early so we could get a seat. The bird in the left corner was our favorite. He is a Bateleur Eagle.
Bunratty Castle | Greg's a little tall for this home!
This castle was decorated to show how people (and livestock) lived back in the day.
 Greg liked the trees,
 I liked the waterfalls
The Adventures of Flat Stanley Flat Stanley had just as much fun in Ireland as we did. For Braedon's school project, he got to experience it all......caves, kissing the Blarney Stone, visiting Blarney Castle, the beach, sheep in the road, the parade, the ferry, Cliffs of Mohr, Doolin music and Bunratty Castle.
Enjoying St. Patrick's Day parade | Flat Stanley even got to pet the barn owl. | King for a day! | This is what happens when I am in charge of Flat Stanley. | Watch out Flat Stanley!!! It's dangerous at the Cliffs. | He even goes to school.
 The signs made us giggle!
I am truly blessed to have had the opportunity to share my dream vacation with one of my best friends! It was an amazing trip, full of memories that I will treasure for a lifetime.
