S: Our Disney World Vacation Feb. 12-19, 2011

FC: 2011 | February 13-19

We took the plunge and decided to take the girls to Disney World in February. We surprised them with a bag full of balloons with a giant Tinkerbell mylar balloon in it at Christmas. I don't think they really knew what was going on, Sydney had it figured out but until we told them we were going to Florida I don't think Jayda and Maryn were sure. February could not come soon enough for us but finally February 13th rolled around. It took a few days to get packed and of course we felt like we had WAY too much stuff. We left Saturday February 12th for the cities and our flight left Sunday morning February 13th. We were on our way!! | February 12, 2011

TIME TO FLY Jayda and Maryn have never flown before so this was a big first for them. They really enjoyed it and did so well keeping busy during the flight. Sydney ended up with horrible pain while we were descending into Orlando...her ears and head were really hurting her and she would cry out in pain and felt like her head was going to explode. Luckily on the way home she didn't have any issues.

FLYING THE FRIENDLY SKIES | We flew out of Terminal 2 - Humphrey on Sun Country Airlines

We arrived in Orlando, Florida around noon Sunday afternoon. We didn't need to get our checked luggage so we were able to go directly to the Disney Magical Express Bus pick up. Our destination, Port Orleans Riverside Resort. We got checked in with no hassle and got our "Keys to the World"! We found our room after some walking around the "Alligator Bayou #28". We then went to the food court for a quick sandwich and discussed what to do next. We decided to check out one of the parks and decided on Hollywood Studios. We then hopped on the Bus System which takes you to all the Theme Parks. Very easy way to get there and back. Our first park was a little overwhelming but we learned an awful lot about how the parks worked and what to do and what not to do. We ended up doing the Studio Backlot Tour which showed you how some things work in the movies.. We then ventured over to the Rock-n-Roller Coaster featuring Aerosmith. We were too late for the Fast Pass so waited in line for over an hour. The ride was a lot fun though. By that time, it was getting late and we had heard good things about the Fantasmic Show so we waited in line for that. It was spectacular to say that least. Well worth the wait!! After the show, we hopped back on the bus back to our resort. Fun start to our trip!! | Monday morning, got up early for breakfast in the food court. We had the dining plan which took some getting used to but we always had plenty of food. Destination today was the Beach Club Resort for our Cape May Character Breakfast. We just about missed our reservation due to not allowing enough time to travel from resort to resort. Needless to say we made it just in the nick of time. We ended up taking the boat taxi to get there. The Beach Club Resort was amazing! We got to meet Goofy, Minnie Mouse and Donald Duck there dressed in their beach clothes. Then we were off to Animal Kingdom for the afternoon. Once in Animal Kingdom we checked out Discovery Island and the Tree of LIfe...pretty cool! We went on the Kilimanjaro Safari and checked out the African animals. We got to meet Pocohontas, Rafiki and Jiminy Cricket at Habitat Habit! We rode the Wildlife Express Train. We got to ride the rollercoaster Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain where the "Yeti" chased us (ha ha ha!) We took a break at The Boneyard while Maryn and Jayda ran around the maze and playground. Onto DinoLand USA where we came across DINOSAUR!! So glad we ended up there because the ride was a lot of fun and we all were scared by the "dinosaur" that "jumped out at us" On our way out, we went to It's Tough to be a Bug 3D where we could smell the stink beetle, feel the roaches and got stung by the bees. We made our way back to the resort where the girls swam and had their caricatures drawn in the lobby. We were quite happy as they turned out real good and shows each of their interests..Syd Basketball, Jayda Volleyball and music and dancing and Maryn golf. | Tuesday, we are heading to Epcot for the day. We were told that we needed to go do the Soarin ride there and they happened to open early that day. We found our way to Soarin...which is a large screen where you sit in a contraption that lifts you in the air and you are suppose to feel like you are hang gliding through the Napa Valley and other areas. When you glide over the ocean, mist hits your face and you can feel the wind in your hair. Scott, Jayda and Maryn went to Mission: Space to do that ride while Sydney and I waited outside and absorbed the warm sun. Syd killed time by breaking a twig into pieces and spelling the word "bored" out on the ground. Kids!! Then we all went to ride Test Track which is a ride where you basically ride in a GM car and do sort of an obstacle course like when they test vehicles. That was fast and very loud! Mom wanted to go to Innovations and meet Chip and Dale so we waited in line to see them. That was fun for mom! We then made our way to the World Showcase. We strolled through all the countries and figured out where our reservations were that night for supper. It was mom's birthday and we were eating at the Japanese restaurant Teppan Edo. It was a very long day for us though, lots of time to kill. We happened to find a street band performing in "the United Kingdom". They were from Canada and played bag pipes and played some good music. We sat and listened for a bit. Then around 8 we headed back to "Japan" for supper. We unfortunately missed the IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth fireworks so that was sort of disappointing. We were sure ready for bed when we got back to the resort that night...can you say exhausted??

Wednesday, Our fun family FREE DAY! We thought it would be a good idea to take a break from the Disney Parks where we were going all the time to just find a sandy beach somewhere and just relax for a little while. We had talked to the concierge desk and got directions to both an east and west coast beach. We decided on driving towards the west coast to Tampa to find Clearwater Beach. Thank goodness for GPS...after stopping and asking someone where the beach was, we found it. It was a nice day to sit in the sun and sand. The beach had the finest white sand I think I have ever seen. Almost too fine as it was everywhere and very hard to get rid of. The girls did some sea shell searching and found a lot of pretty shells. We had lunch at a little burger shop right there and had fun watching all the birds trying to take peoples food. We only spent a few hours at Clearwater Beach as we had about an hour drive back to Orlando and we had a dinner reservation at the Polynesian for the Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show. We hopped on the bus to Magic Kingdom and then had to use the Monorail to get over to the Polynesian Resort. Now that is a large resort...we walked and walked and walked to find where the dinner show was. We got our lei and then waited until the show was ready to start. We were seated and then our waiter arrived. He was such a nice guy, older and fun to chat with. He guessed right away that we were from Minnesota by our "accent". Too funny! The food and show were good and the girls really enjoyed the fire thrower....they were amazed. | Thursday, big day planned at Universal Studios and Island's of Adventure. After breakfast, we took our rental car and drove to these two parks. For some reason the Disney Busing doesn't stop at these parks. The first thing we did when we arrived was decided which park to start with. Islands of Adventure it was. Scott, Syd and Jayda rode on The Incredible Hulk Coaster right away while mom and Maryn looked on...she was too short for this ride. We did get to ride the Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man which was a 3D ride...that was cool. We then made our way through Toon Lagoon and onto Jurassic Park where Maryn and mom rode the Pteranodon Flyers ride. Scott just about gave Maryn up to the T Rex at the entrance but we decided to keep her. :) Then came probably the most exciting area, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Sydney was really into the Harry Potter Book series and since this was a newly opened attraction, we couldn't wait! It felt like we were literally walking through Hogwarts. We had to stop and take a bunch of pictures. We went into Hogwarts School and waited in line to ride Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey where we got to fly on our brooms like Harry himself. Stopped to see the Frog Choir and Syd got her first Butterbeer drink. She purchased a wand while there too. We buzzed through the rest of the park and over to Universal Studios where we saw Jaws and Rip Ride Rocket. Syd had a headache so she skipped that one but Scott thought it was great cuz he could choose his 80s tune to listen to on the ride. We experienced Twister. Jayda, Maryn and I rode Jimmy Neutrons Blast. We ended our evening by eating at the Hard Rock Cafe...Yummy! | Friday, our last day of a FANTASTIC vacation! As you walk into the Magic Kingdom, there is a banner that says "Let the Memories Begin" which is so appropriate. We had an opportunity to meet Daisy Duck as soon as we arrived. Then we were off to explore. While walking down Main Street USA, we were able to see the Celebrate A Dream Come True Parade. We got to watch a bunch of characters go by on floats and the music was real upbeat! The shops on Main Street were real neat but we didn't spend much time going through them with so many other things to cover. We climbed the Swiss Family Treehouse and Jayda, Maryn and I rode Aladdin's Magic Carpet ride. We rode a boat through the Spanish Main to catch a glimpse of Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean. We went through Frontierland and Liberty Square where we ate at Liberty Tavern. We walked through the Haunted Mansion and watched the Hall of Presidents. At Fantasyland, we went on the Mad Tea Party ride and got a little bit dizzy. We watched the Dream Along With Mickey stage show in front of Cinderella's castle and got to see all the Princesses and their Princes. We went to Tomorrowland and rode on the Space Mountain coaster...so much fun as it was entirely dark through the whole ride...you never knew which way you were going...so crazy! I think the highlight for all of us was the Wishes Nighttime Spectacular Fireworks show at Cinderella's Castle. On our way out of the park we got to see the Main Street Electrical Parade. The floats were completely covered in lights with characters on them. It was a wonderful way to end our Family Vacation to Disney World. We left with many memories that week and will hopefully make it back again someday soon!!

Disney's magical express | Once we landed in Orlando, we found our way to Disney's Magical Express Bus which took us to our resort. It was sure nice to not see snow but see sun, green grass, palm trees and to feel the warmth of Florida.

Our Resort, Port Orleans Riverside turned out to be quite nice. It is amazing how big these places are...we did a lot of walking around the grounds getting from our room to the lobby and food court. Can't complain though as the views were great!

The > Bathroom / Dressing Area | Room 2852 in Cabin #28 Alligator Bayou Port Orleans Riverside Resort | < The shower Some of the > special little things they do at the Disney Resorts. | Our room had 2 double beds and a trundle bed that pulled out for Maryn to sleep on. Not a whole lot of space but we weren't in it very much.

The Food Court | Where we ate at the resort | The works of the Water Wheel

Our Resort was beautiful inside and out. These are some photos of the inside. We ate breakfast in the food court area and sat by the water wheel gears most of the time. The lobby was huge and had lots of windows and character. The place was always busy busy with people and there were always kids sitting in front of the TV watching Disney Programs while waiting for their parents. Maryn was sitting here this time waiting for us at the concierge desk.

 Riverside Mill | The Cottages

The Beauty of Port Orleans Riverside Resort | Riverside Mill | Port Orleans French Quarter | The Colonel's Cotton Mlll Lobby | The Marina Area | Ol' Man Island Pool | The Water Wheel | Bridge to the Pool | Boatrights Dining Hall | Sitting area outside food court | Sassagoula River

Our Cottage We did lots of walking on the paths and enjoyed the views

Goofing off at the resort bus stop waiting for the bus to head to the park | Our first meal at our Resort...sandwiches

 Sun. 2-13-11

We spent our first afternoon/evening at Hollywood Studios. We walked around a little bit overwhelmed at all the stuff to do and all the people. I think we learned a lot about what works well and what not to do regarding the parks here. There never seems to be enough time to see it all but we did manage to walk around most of the park.

Our first adventure at Hollywood Studios was the Studio Backlot Tour. We hopped on the tram and they took us around the lots where we could see how they make explosive movies and movies with lots of water and fire. Saw some fun things like Herbie the Love Bug. | STUDIO BACKLOT TOUR | SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 13, 2011 | The chicken coup from the Hannah Montana Movie

Sun. 2-13-11 | Our first roller coaster experience in Disney World was the Rock-N-Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith. We were too late for the Fast Pass so we decided to wait in line for over an hour. We got to listen to some good music while waiting and the ride was worth the wait!

PICTURES TOP TO BOTTOM * The chicken coup from the Hannah Montana Movie * Maryn in front of large Coca Cola bottle * Jayda dreaming of being an "American Idol" * Syd loves CocaCola so we couldn't pass up this photo op * Twilight Zone Tower of Terror didn't do this, ran out of time * Maryn and her American Idol dream * Streets of America landscape | More Hollywood Studios Misc.

FANTASMIC! | Sunday February 13, 2011 We ended our first night at Disney with Fantasmic! It was a spectacular light and laser show with fountains and characters galore. I would call the show a recap of some of Disney's greatest movies. I can't explain the laser show but visions of characters were projected onto the dancing fountains of water...pretty amazing stuff.

**BEACH CLUB RESORT** Monday, February 14, 2011 HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!! We took a water taxi over to the Beach Club Resort for our Cape May Character Breakfast. We almost didn't make it to our reservation because we didn't plan enough time to travel by bus to Epcot and then hop on the water taxi so we did end up doing some running but we made it within a minutes time. Phew!

We got up bright and early to get to our character breakfast at the Beach Club Resort. We grabbed a bus to Epcot and then the water taxi to Beach Club...we just about didn't make it in time but did get to our reservation right with a minute to spare. We got seated, got our yummy food and then got to meet Goofy, Donald Duck & Minnie Mouse. They wander around the restaurant taking pictures with families. It was a fun start to our Monday. | CAPE MAY CHARACTER BREAKFAST

Meeting Minnie was a lot of fun! I didn't expect her to be wearing her beach clothes but then again we were at the Beach Club Resort. The girls got her autograph and then we took our pictures with her. Now I was getting excited to see more Disney characters and I think the girls were too. Breakfast was so yummy too and it was fun watching the characters greet little kids and their reactions.

Donald Duck is in the building!! Who doesn't love Donald Duck? We got to see him while we were having breakfast at the Beach Club Resort. It was Valentine's Day and I thought the Mickey and Minnie cake was sure sweet.

Day 2 of vacation (2-14-11). We spent the day at Animal Kingdom where we saw the tree in the Circle of Life Garden, went on the Kilimanjaro Safari, rode the Wildlife Express Train, went to the show It's Tough Being a Bug where we experienced some creepy crawly special effects, went on the roller coaster Expedition Everest where the Yeti almost got us. =) Maryn played in the Boneyard and we went on the Dinosaur ride. So much FUN!!

The Girls got to meet Rafiki, Pocahontas and Jiminy Cricket at Rafiki's Planet Watch.

 Animal Kingdom Highlights

the giraffe | lions | hippo in the water | We hopped on the Kilimanjaro Safari and soon were on a search for poachers. They drove through some rough terrain and along the way we got to see many safari animals.

Safari Animals | alligators | elephant | not really sure what this is other than one interesting animal | flamingos | rhinoceros family | Tuesday February 14, 2011

Expedition Everest Legend of the Forbidden Mountain Beware of the Fierce Yeti (Abominable Snowman) | Syd and Maryn on our way up the roller coaster. Here we goooooo. | Waiting in line for the ride. | Family Photo with Expedition Everest in the back

Dinosaur Ride - What a great ride hidden away in Dino Land. We just got lucky and happened upon this place...we were so glad we did. You ride in the coaster cars through prehistoric lands. To our shock and surprise, we all got the living daylight scared out of us when a T-Rex jutted out at us. You can see by the photo above, we were all a bit scared. It just makes me laugh looking at our faces. 2-14-11

^The girls were sure troopers with all the walking...Syd also helped a lot by carrying Maryn on her shoulders. << Maryn digging in the Boneyard in DinoLand USA at Animal Kingdom.

Spending time with Family is PRICELESS!

Once we got back to our Resort after our busy day at Animal Kingdom, we ran across a guy in the lobby doing caricatures. They were a little spendy but the girls all agreed that they wanted to do it. They got to choose what they wanted their caricature to be doing. Syd chose basketball, Jayda chose volleyball and dancing and Maryn chose golf. They sure turned out great and are such a good souvenir from our trip.

We had a yummy snack once back to our resort Monday night. Then Jayda and Maryn begged us to go swimming so we made a late night trip to Ol' Man Island Pool for a bit so they could burn off some more energy. | Family | Fun

We spent our third day of our Disney Vacation at Epcot. We wanted to do a couple of the rides early that morning to miss the rush so we went to Soarin and Test Track. We went to the Character Spot and got some autographs, Scott, Jayda and Maryn rode the Mission: Space ride while Syd and I did some people watching. It got to be a long day for us as we had a dinner reservation there later that evening but there is plenty to see there including World Showcase.

 Tuesday 2-15-11

We went on the Test Track ride at Epcot. It is a GM car that they put through a rigorous track making you feel like you are spinning out on ice, almost having a crash with a large truck and almost feeling like we were racing in Indianapolis. It was very LOUD and very FAST. After we exited the ride, we all fell in LOVE with the green Camaro they had on display. Guess we will all keep dreaming!

We stopped in some shops while at Epcot. They had some unique items to buy. The girls loved the blown glass things the best.

We killed some time at the Epcot Character Spot waiting for Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald Duck and Pluto's autographs! There was quite a line in there but they played some Disney Clips to keep the kids occupied. Sure was nice being able to see a bunch of characters one right after the other. You sure feel like a kid again when you see the characters and remember back to your own childhood and watching Disney cartoons.

You gotta love them all!!! | Wednesday February 15, 2011

Mom was so excited to see Chip -n- Dale...It was pretty warm waiting in the sun for the line to dwindle down but we got there eventually. Syd didn't want her picture taken with them...I think she was thinking she was "too old" for this stuff.

Beauty ofEpcot | There were some beautiful sites around Epcot and World Showcase. Pretty flowers, unique plants, waterfalls, fountains and light features. Such a beautiful place at night with the Spaceship Earth icon lit up. 2-15-11

China | China | China | Japan | The American Adventure | Morocco | United Kingdom | France | WORLD SHOWCASE AT EPCOT | China | France

Norway | Mexico | France | Canada | France | France | France | France | FUN TO EXPERIENCE DIFFERENT COUNTRIES WITHOUT LEAVING THE STATES.

Feb. 15...Teresa's Birthday. We wanted to do something special and heard good things about Teppan Edo, a Japanese Restaurant where they prepare and cook the food in front of you. The girls weren't too excited about the food but it was something different to experience. We had some good laughs trying to learn how to use the chopsticks. Unfortunately we ate late and missed the Epcot Fireworks. The girls would run outside now and then to peek..all in all mom had a fun birthday!!!

 Family | Life's Greatest Blessing

 Paris at night was beautiful!

CHARACTERS OF | Snow White | Mulan | Jasmine & Aladdin

Princess Aurora | Marie the Cat | Mary Poppins | WORLD SHOWCASE | Tuesday February 15, 2011

On Wednesday of our vacation we decided to take a little break from the Disney Parks and have a day at the beach. We got a rental car for a couple of days and got directions to Clearwater Beach (highly recommended by concierge) which is near Tampa, Florida...about a 2 hour drive from Orlando. The day ended up being beautiful and it was nice to just relax in the sun and sand. The girls did some digging in the sand and some seashell hunting. Unfortunately we weren't able to stay for too long as we had a dinner reservation back in Orlando but the short amount of time we were there was wonderful! Wed. 2-16-11

The girls love shells and Clearwater Beach had plenty of them. Maryn's big find of the day was an intact clam type shell. She was very protective of that shell while we were there. It was a very successful day of collecting shells to say the least as we came home with a couple of bags full.

 Wed. 2-16-11 Clearwater Beach Florida

 Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show

Wednesday evening, we had a dinner reservation at the Polynesian Resort for the "Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show". We got to the resort and were welcomed with leis and had our souvenir picture taken. We were seated in the theater and met our waiter. He was super and very easy to have a conversation with. He joked that we were from Canada because of our "accent". For dinner, Scott and I ordered chicken and BBQ'd ribs with rice. Maryn ordered her usual meal, PB and J sandwich which comes in a little package and Jayda had macaroni and cheese. For desert we got a chocolate mousse with a glaze drizzled on it. It resembled a volcano which was sure fun. After we were done eating, there was a show about "Ohana" (love in Hawaiian). There were dancers who put on a little play and then at the end, there was a fire thrower who put on an amazing show. | Polynesian Resort --Wednesday 2-16-11

Universal Studios Islands of Adventure | On Thursday, day 5 of our trip, we took our rental car to Universal Studios to experience all the fun rides and things at Islands of Adventure. The first thing we did when we walked into the park was ride the Incredible Hulk Coaster. Mom and Maryn stayed back as she wasn't tall enough so we waited for Dad, Syd and Jayda to go. It looked like a lot of fun. We also went on the Amazing Advenures of Spider Man which was a very cool 3D thrill ride.

Also at Islands of Adventure we walked through Toon Lagoon, Maryn and I rode on Pteranodon Flyers at Jurrassic Park where Scott was going to sacrifice Maryn to the T-Rex. =) We considered going on Jurassic Park's River Adventure but decided that we would have gotten quite wet and we didn't want to spend the rest of the day soaked. We walked through the Lost Continent and saw "Poseidon's Fury" or the remains of Poseidon's ancient temple. | Thursday February 17, 2011 | WE | UNIVERSAL STUDIOS

SEUSS LANDING - we stopped here to have some pizza at Circus McGurkus Cafe Stoo-pendous and got to see Cat In The Hat and some other Dr. Seuss characters. | WELCOME TO UNIVERSAL STUDIOS Thurs. 2-17-11

We made our way over to Universal Studios after Islands of Adventure as they are connected. Scott and Jayda rode the Rip Ride Rocket where they got to pick their own Rock Music to listen too. It sounded pretty cool but Mom, Syd and Maryn stayed back as Syd had a headache at the time. We did the JAWS boat ride where Jaws almost got us. Maryn, Jayda and I went on Jimmy Neutrons Nicktoon Blast ride and got to meet Spongebob. We finished off the evening at Hard Rock Cafe for dinner. We heard that Miranda Cosgrove was performing nearby but we didn't have time to get tickets. Would have been fun to see!!

 Weasley's Car | House flags

Sydney is a HUGE Harry Potter fan so we wanted to make sure that we got to spend some time at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. It was amazing! You felt like you were walking right in the middle of Hogwarts. We walked through Hogwarts to get to the Forbidden Journey ride where you feel like you are actually flying on a broom along with Harry Potter. It was so much fun! We also rode the Dragon Challenge Ride where you nearly collide with the other dragon "ride" in an intertwining chase. Afterwards Sydney wanted to try a ButterBeer...tasted a little bit like frozen cream soda. We went into a couple of stores where Sydney ended up purchasing a "special" wand. All in all it was a great experience and so fun to see her enjoy it so much! 2-17-11

Wands for purchase | Syd trying her first BUTTERBEER | Hogwarts Express

 FRIDAY FEBRUARY 18, 2011

We finally made it to Magic Kingdom...finally. I guess I was never sure if we would ever get there with the girls. I do know one thing, this mom felt like a little girl again and a couple of times even had a tear in my eye. I just couldn't believe we were actually here. You see it on TV all the time and I guess you start to wonder if it is worth the hype. Well it definitely is!! What a beautiful park with sooo much to do and see. We saved our last day for Magic Kingdom knowing if would be a big one. One of the first things we did when we walked through the gate was meet Daisy Duck. We hadn't seen her anywhere yet so that was nice. We got our picture taken with Cinderella's Castle in the background.

CELEBRATE A TRUE | We happned to be on Main Street USA when we started to hear music playing the song "CELEBRATE. Before we knew it, there was a parade going by with a bunch of the Disney Characters riding on floats partying and dancing. It was a great way to start out our day at Magic Kingdom.

DREAM COME PARADE | friday 2-18-11

Swiss Family Tree House | One of our first stops at Magic Kingdom was Swiss Family Tree House. We had quite a bit of climbing to do to get to the top but it was neat to see.

We sailed through the Spanish Main on The Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Magic Kingdom. Mom tried to take pictures but got into a little bit of trouble for using a flash. I did manage to get a couple of pictures though. | PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN

LIBERTY SQUARE | Liberty Square Riverboat | We took a tour through the Haunted Mansion...Scary | Maryn all locked up

Jayda pointing at the crack in The Liberty Bell | The Liberty Bell in Liberty Square | Maryn and Jayda on Aladdin's Magic Carpet Ride

Dream Along With Mickey | There are shows all over the place at Magic Kingdom and sometimes you happen to miss them. We got lucky and saw that there was a show going to take place at the castle so we got great seats right up front and waited. Most of the main Disney characters, some of the Princes and Princesses, Peter Pan, Wendy and Captain Hook and even the Evil Witch was there. They all put on a great show dancing and waving to the crowd. Again, mom just couldn't believe we were actually sitting on the grounds of Cinderellas Castle. It was great fun!

 Friday February 18, 2011

Maryn got to meet Buzz Lightyear at Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin in Tomorrowland. He even got her to strike a cute pose.

MAD TEA PARTY at Fantasyland | We have seen the Mad Tea Party Ride on the Disney TV commercial many times and now we can finally say we've "Been There, Done That". It may be a ride geared for smaller kids but we sure had some laughs and loved getting a little bit dizzy!

i cannot tell you how amazing the cinderella's castle is at night! as the colors change...the next is even more beautiful than the last. it truly is a magical place to be and i am so happy that we were able to experience this together as a family. truly amazing!!

 Wishes Nighttime Spectacular

WOW!! I have seen a lot of fireworks in the past but these were truly spectacular!!! We spent all day Friday at Magic Kingdom and were amazed by everything we saw while there. We couldn't have ended our vacation any better than this!!! Such a MAGICAL place indeed! You can't help but feel like a little kid again. A vacation we will never forget for sure! Friday, February 18, 2011

Electrical Lights Parade Main Street USA Magic Kingdom Friday, February 18, 2011

Our last and final experience while on our Disney World Vacation...The Electrical Lights Parade. As we were leaving the park, we were lucky enough to catch the parade going down Main Street USA. It was a great way to end our vacation! We got to see a few last characters before we left and I of course took a ton of pictures of all the floats!
