1: On December 4th, 2009 Jen and I went on our first overseas adventure together. We spent 9 days exploring Egypt; meeting new friends, and creating embarrassing memories that will never be forgotten.
2: Our first day started with the step pyramid at Saqqara where Sam explained to us the evolution of the pyramids; and ended at the great pyramids of Gizas where we rode camels, Banana and Mickey Mouse. | PYRAMIDS

10: NUBIA | We took a boat to a Nubian village where we had dinner with a Nubian family, played with alligators, met the most adorable child in the world, watched a show, and got some henna!
12: The Colossus of Memnon
13: Hatshepsut Temple | Hatshepsut was one of Egypt's most successful Pharaohs, despite being a woman. She wore the traditional beard in public appearances.

22: After nine incredible days we were on our way home with nothing but our memories,a few souvenirs, and a severe case of wanderlust.
