FC: Ella Paxton Spiess | A Magical Second Year

1: Dear Ella, It is hard to believe that another year has come and gone and our little bean will be turning two in a few short days. It is so difficult to put into words how much you mean to us. We love you with all of our hearts. You are our magic, our joy, our constant laughter, and our sweet sweet girl. With each day that passes we watch your personality develop a little bit more and we cherish it. You have a beautiful balance of outgoing silly girl with quiet reserved girl. We love watching this journey that you are on. I promise that there is not a day that goes by that we don't appreciate you for all that you are. We don't know why you were given to us, but we are so thankful that you are here, and that we have the privilege of being your Mommy and Daddy. You are so smart, too smart for your own good sometimes, and that makes us very proud. We know you are headed for great things little girl, and we plan to give you all the support, guidance, and love that you need to do anything you want to with this crazy life. The last year has been a whirlwind of change, and we look forward to seeing what the third year will bring. We love you right up to the moon and back, Mommy and Daddy

5: You grew and changed so much in May. You became an excellent walker and could say over 30 words!

6: You love going out in the boat. Sometimes it's a problem because you love being independent and don't want to be held. Unless, of course, Daddy is holding you while you drive. I was in heaven on this particular day because you decided to take a nap in my arms. Pure bliss. | A Day on the Boat
