2: On the Plane! Nicholas had fun talking to people on the plane. Then he slept for about 3 hours. Mummy wasn't feeling good so it was up to Daddy and the nice lady sitting next to us to entertain him for the rest of the flight. | Nicholas P. McDermott Elmira, Ontario

6: Montacute House | Montacute House is an Elizabethan country house restored to 18th Century levels (although some rooms were restored to different eras). It also has large gardens and a family picnic area. The long gallery on the third floor is home to an exhibition from the National Portrait Gallery.

10: Good times with friends at The New Inn. Nicholas spent ages playing with thee branches above the bench.

15: The challenges of photographing two dogs and a baby! | We came across a small hamlet called "Canada". Of course, we had to stop for a photo.

16: Portsmouth | On our last day in England we met up with our friends Simon and Darren. It was raining, so we had to stay inside.

17: The HMS Victory is a 15th century ship restored to it's former glory. We were too late to go on a tour - maybe next time!

18: France | We finally arrived in Angouleme at about 8:00 at night. That morning we missed our flight from Exeter to Bergerac and had to take the next flight to Paris. From there we took the train to Angouleme. The train was packed, and we were barely able to cram ourselves and our bags into the car before it left the station. Meanwhile,Tony was waiting for us at the airport in Bergerac!
