5: Welcome to the world Ezra Moses! A few weeks early to the party, you surprised Mommy while she was out with a friend at Starbucks. Daddy began the day in Wisconsin, but somehow managed to get back to Toronto just minutes before you entered the world! Your constant surprises and unshakable smile remind us of Zaide Moe, who you were lovingly named after (the "E" stands for Energy!) May you always bring love and joy to all those around you! What a dazzling way to start your journey :)
12: Ezra, there's no other way to say it: you're such a boy. You are always on the move: opening drawers, eating sand, picking up random objects, seeing what's just around the corner. And this curiosity is coupled with a beautifully winning smile that can melt the ice of a Toronto winter (or a grumpy sister or parent) and fills every room you are in with joy and eagerness to find out what's going to happen next. Keep us guessing, Ez. We're all waiting for your next move.
19: May you build a ladder to the stars, may you climb on every rung...May you stay Forever Young. -- B.D.
23: "Chanukah, chanukah Chag yafeh kol kach Or chaviv m'saviv Gil l'yeled rach... Chanukah -- a beautiful holiday, a lovely light surrounds, bringing joy to every child..."
27: Dear Ezra, I am three years older and wiser than you, so you should always listen to what I say and do what I tell you. In my experience, here are some tips that I think will allow you to go far in this world: 1) Use "puppy dog" eyes and say "I love you, Mommy and Daddy" whenever possible. They are very effective manipulative tools. 2) Eat plenty of chicken and salmon. They're good foods for growing kids. 3) Wear layers during winter. 4) Enjoy naptime. Apparently you won't have it forever. 5) Go to Camp George! YAY! 6) Always remember: your big sister loves you and has your back. Stick with me, and you'll go far, kid. Love, Mikayla
