2: Kelsey with Grandma and Grandpa Peters | In the beginning of January Melissa's parents came to visit. Grandma Peters really enjoyed reading Kelsey lots of stories and Kelsey was more than willing to listen. One highlight was going to Science World in Vancouver and enjoying the special feature "Body Worlds".

5: MAKING MEMORIES | Melissa's been taking Kelsey swimming at the local pool since she was about 6 months old. We go with our friend, Shana, and her son, Ryan. Kelsey LOVES being in the water! She always gets excited when we get there and has very little fear being in the pool. For Brian's birthday he wanted to come see what Melissa had been bragging about for the past few months. Kelsey, we love that you like water, you are our little fish. | Here Kelsey is dunking her whole face in the water.
8: At the end of February I (Melissa) was able to go on a woman's retreat with our church. Because I was still nursing Kelsey she was able to come along. The theme was 'Dare to Dream'. Shana and I went up together on Friday and stayed till Sunday morning. It was a fun weekend of bonding with ladies from the church. We were able to go hot tubbing, go for walks, and do some crafting. I ended up spending most of the time with Kelsey as she became sick. Despite this it was a wonderful weekend that I hope to be able to do again.

22: The weather was nice in June and we spent a lot of time outside in the kiddie pool. Kelsey and Nash (day care child) loved being in the water and playing outside. Our cat Phoenix had 4 kittens. We also replaced the counter top in our kitchen. Melissa planted a garden again and we enjoyed eating the few things we got from it.
23: July was a very busy month. We went to the July 1st parade in Mt.Lehman. Daniel and Miranda came for a five day visit and we went camping with them. We also went camping another weekend with a few friends to Cultus Lake. We were very excited find out that we were expecting another baby that would be arriving in March. At the end of the month we were able to go to the Abbotsford Agri Fair and Kelsey experienced her first fair and rodeo. It was an unusually cool month but we had a few hot days where we could enjoy the outdoors. | July | July 1st parade - Kelsey did not like the loud bands | Camping at Cultus Lake

28: September | In September we were very blessed to have all of the Degelder family out to visit. For Mom Degelder's birthday we bought a photo session with Joanne Bos to get some family photos done.
29: We (Mom + Dad D., Becky, Leah, Andres, Cindy, Addy, Jayda, Kelsey, Ava and Melissa) enjoyed a long morning at the zoo. The men went fishing. We all had a great time seeing all the animals but it resulted in some VERY tired little girls.
30: The whole family spent some time at the Peace Arch park. Despite the cool weather the girls enjoyed collecting shells and playing with sand and water.
31: In the middle of September we drove up to Logan Lake and spent a weekend there with Brad, Alicia and their 2 children Landon and Kayden. The men went hunting while we woman hung out with the kids. On Saturday afternoon it was very hot and so we spent the day at the lake.

39: November was a bit more of a quiet month. We had some beautiful fall weather and even some snow, which lasted for only a day... just enough time to build a snow man. Kelsey started sleeping in a "big girl" bed and transitioned very well. One highlight was that Uncle Tim came to visit us for a weekend. Kelsey really enjoyed hanging out with him and especially loved when he read her stories. | A new favorite pastime - coloring
