FC: Onsager Family Memories 2011
1: 2011 | Andrew turned 5, finished preschool, and started kindergarten. He loves to fish, draw, and play. Natalie was 3, started choosing her own clothes, had long hair and then short, learned to unbuckle her carseat, got rid of the booster seat, went fishing for the first time, and turned 4. Daniel was 2, infatuated with "Cars", potty training, and doing it himself. He also got rid of his booster seat at the kitchen table and went fishing for the first time. All the kids became better runners, bikers, swimmers, and swingers. We started Korean Saturday nights! And added pizza picnics on Fridays too. We went crunchy - composting, living simply, and getting rid of shampoo. We expanded the garden, built a new playset and added lots of hooks in the garage. We went to Syracuse for a week and saw Niagara Falls as a family. Three camping trips with cousins, FTKA, and us. Our first trip to the Dells - Great Wolf waterpark was a hit. After a tense state budget, Paul opened Onsager Law Office "on the side". We spent a lot of time out in our garden, digging for worms, enjoying fresh fruit and produce, and making great (wheat and dairy-free) meals. We filled our freezer with pesto, tomatoes, and zucchini. Our first trip to the strawberry patch! And our first batch of strawberry jam. Playdates! children's museums, yoga at the library, parks, and Aldo Leopold. K-dramas for Paul and Yvonne. First family movie at the theater (Cars2). Yvonne turned 34, Paul turned 43, and we celebrated 9 years of marriage. It was a good year...
