12: October Camping in Brown County Somethings in our lives need documented so that we remember them, others need to be written down so others can enjoy the shear stupidity of past events. This trip is not getting written about to remind us (because all that were there will never forget) but rather so all can laugh and share in the misery of a camping trip gone wrong. This was our annual camping trip to Brown County State Park, mind you this was a trip we have NEVER had bad weather for... in years past! This trip would be different. Night one we set up camp, and decide to go for a "short" walk before settling in for the night. Three hours later, coyotes howling in the not so far distance, and in pitch black we returned to civilization. Evan walked Rose the whole way like a trooper! Day two looked like rain, right when we decide to go for a walk, but we thought we could beat it. This time two hours later in pouring rain, drenched to the bone we emerge from the woods . Again, Evan walked the whole way like a trooper! Night two after pizza in Bloomington, to escape the down pours for a while, dad and Tyler make several trips to the restroom in the middle of the night, sometimes making it... sometimes not! The nearest bathroom was about a quarter mile walk! Evan again the trooper, slept right through the craziness! It was a weekend to be laughed at and shared with all!!
