I thought of you today, but that is nothing new. I thought about you yesterday, and days before that too. I think of you in silence, I often speak your name. All I have are memories and a picture in a frame. Your memory is a keepsake, from which I'll never part. God has you in His arms... I have you in my heart.
Dedicated to our daughter, Grace Elizabeth Hurst. Born on February 22, 2010 and lived for ten beautiful hours. We love her and miss her and think of her every day. God Be With You Till We Meet Again.
"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." John 14:27
“No pain that we suffer, no trial that we experience, is wasted. All that we suffer and all that we endure, especially when we endure it patiently, builds up our characters, purifies our hearts, expands our souls, and makes us more tender and charitable. It is through sorrow and suffering, toil and tribulation, that we gain the education that we came here to acquire.” Orson F. Whitney
I have a family here on Earth, they are so good to me. I want to share my life with them through all eternity. Families can be together forever, through Heavenly Father's plan. I always want to be with my own family, and the Lord has shown me how I can. The Lord, has shown me how I can.
Some people sing of angels, But I held one in my hand, She was pure and clean and touched my life as only an Angel can. I longed to keep her here with me and though I loved her so, I knew she didn't belong here on earth So I let my angel go. Sometimes when my heart is still and when I miss her most, I think about the time I had, To hold my angel close. And I know that God must love me And I know how blessed I am, To not just sing of angels But to have held one in my hand.
Dear Lord, I would have loved to hold my child on my lap and teach her about you.... But since I can't, would you put her on your lap and teach her about me?
 A Father's Blessing
Embrace me one more time, sweet mother. Fill my soul with your radiant light. Warm my weak body with your gentle arm. Reassure me that you'll be alright. Embrace me one last time, my dear mother, And dry your sweet, tender cheek. I came to be held by your soft, loving arms. And once again your embrace I will seek. -Lacey Green
Perhaps they are not the stars, But rather openings in Heaven Where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down to let us know they are happy.
An Angel opened up the book of life, Wrote down the baby's birth.... Then whispered as she closed the book, "Too beautiful for Earth."
The Broken Chain We knew that morning that God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone; for part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide; and though we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same; but as God call us one by one, the Chain will link again.
"The Lord takes many away even in infancy, that they may escape the envy of man, and the sorrows and evils of this present world; they were too pure, too lovely, to live on earth; therefore, if rightly considered, instead of mourning we have reason to rejoice as they are delivered from evil, and we shall soon have them again." --Joseph Smith
Whenever I hear the song of a bird or look at the blue, blue sky, Whenever I feel the rain on my face, or the wind as it rushes by, Whenever I touch a velvet rose or walk by a lilac tree, I'm glad that I live in this beautiful world, Heavenly Father created for me. He gave me my eyes, that I might see, the color of butterfly wings. He gave me my ears, that I might hear, the magical sounds of things. He gave me my life, my mind, my heart: I thank him reverently for all his creations of which I'm a part. Yes I know Heavenly Father loves me.
When God sends forth a tiny soul to learn the ways of earth, A mother's love is waiting here we call this wonder birth. When God calls home a little soul and stills a fleeting breath, A father's love is waiting there, this too is birth, not death.
But there is a resurrection, therefore the grave hath no victory, and the sting of death is swallowed up in Christ. Mosiah 16:8
In Gods Hands I promised you a lifetime of tenderness and care, So God made that happen when He led you safely there. You're more than just a memory, you're part of me still. I still ache to hold you close, and I always will. In God's hands you are healed. In God's hands you are Home. In his hands He holds the world, so I know you're not alone. When I need you next to me, I know that you are near, I'll see you in Heaven, safely in God's hands. He promised the days of pain would end with joy and peace, He gave me that Miracle when He brought you here to me. His hands will always calm. His hands will gently heal, His loving hands know just how I feel. In God's hands you are healed. In God's hands you are Home. In his hands He holds the world, so I know you're not alone. When I need you next to me, I know that you are near, I'll see you in Heaven, safely in God's hands.
