FC: Hippocrates | The father of medicine

1: Hippocrates was considered the father of medicine. He did not believe in the mythology of healing people that others did.

2: Hippocrates was known for being a kind and gentle doctor. His methods were extraordinary and effective.

3: Hippocrates thought that diet and immobilization were key to healing people. Most people did not see that until his methods were proved effective

4: This is Asclepius the god of medicine. Hippocrates believed that the body had the power to heal itself

5: In his pursuit of truth, Hippocrates defied all other people who said not to mess with the gods and just let the gods do what they can. He took it into himself to find the truth.

6: Throughout his medical career, Hippocrates went around spreading his teachings. Most of his teachings were not accepted until put into use.

7: Although Hippocrates was not accepted until his methods worked, his oath that he makes his students take as doctors represents his truth because it is still used and accepted today.

8: After his methods were accepted, Hippocrates pursuit of truth was over. People accepted his teachings and they worked.

9: Hippocrates' contributions to the world has impacted everyone in his time and ours.

10: In conclusion, Hippocrates' pursuit of truth led to him fame and knowledge. At first people didn't believe him but he has gotten to the truth.

11: Through his quest, HIppocrates helped people and saved them from dying. However, people may have persecuted him because he did not believe in the mythology of that time.

12: Reflection: | This project went well throughout the entire project. I went through this step by step. The only thing I find as a problem was the pictures and I found it rather tedious. Then I kept on adding pictures and creating a citation for each. Then I did the evaluation. Following that, I added the consequences of Hippocrates' pursuit of truth. Overall, I thought this project went well but could have a little more clear on the instructions. I learned that the truth is not always the thing that is true. I now know that the truth is what people believe without a single doubt that it could be a lie. That is what the truth is.
