3: Amethyst Amelia Kelly | Amethyst Amelia Kelly, better known as Iggy Azalea, was born in Sydney, Australia and raised in Mullumbimby, New South Wales. When she became 16 years old, she relocated to the United States, specifically, Miami, Florida. This move inspired one of her singles, "Work."
4: Work | "Work" is the lead single of Iggy Azalea's first full album, "The New Classic." "Work" is written by Iggy herself and speaks about her life and her move to the United States. Previous to moving, Iggy worked as a house maid with her mother. When she moved to Miami, she was broke and had no way of returning to her family.
7: Iggy's Start | Iggy started her rapping career in Miami, Florida. She began free-styling, a type of rap with a basic beat. She recorded songs and wrote some of her own music. She made these into mix tapes and gave them out or sold them at local small business music stores.
8: hunger | Iggy was the cover model of HungerTV's magazine for the 2013 Spring-Summer Fashion seasons.
11: The new classic tour | Iggy's first big tour, The New Classic Tour, toured around the United States and ending in Vancouver, Canada to premier her first complete album, The New Classic.
