To Our Favorite Pirate Captain, Happy 7th Birthday! May You Always Remember Your First Pirate Adventure. | Disney World July 2010

Captain Jack 's Swashbuckling Adventure | Written by Daddy and Sara

Aargh Matey! "Me name is Captain Jack, I am a fierce pirate who loves to sail the seven seas. If ye try to steal me treasure, I will cut ye off at yer knees."

Welcome to me ship where me first mate yells for the crew to ready the ship so we can set sail for the Caribbean Isles to pick up me heartys.

We dock the ship just as things start to get ugly. It seems the pirates have overtaken the town and are raising a raucous. We search high and low throughout the streets for me old friend, Jack Sparrow. It seems he has got himself in some trouble.

Sparrow is on the run because some landlubbers discovered he knows where I buried me treasure when last I was here. They chase him through the streets as he dodges in and out of sight.

As we searched high and low for the sneaky sea dog, we gathered clues to his whereabouts. First, we asked some scurvy lads if they knew of Jack Sparrow. | They all shook their heads no because they wanted to lay low. Next we came upon a crazy kook talking to his cats but he was no help. A man selling hats showed us the way and said Sparrow had headed toward the bay.

Not knowing we were hot on his trail, Jack Sparrow was looking for a way to set sail. He hid in a barrel biding his time. | At last his chance came. He slipped through the crowd unseen as some rowdy pirates broke into song and another snored noisily with his pigs.

Sparrow knew he would need a crew to make his escape succeed. He found some willing deck hands who were also in need. They bargained their services for the chance to be freed. It was an easy jailbreak after they bribed the dog with a tasty treat.

Alas, we finally found Jack Sparrow. We met up on the docks where our ships lay ready. We devised a plan to take Sparrow's newly stolen ship along with me own boat to sail to the other side of the island to retrieve me buried treasure.

As we round the island in our quest for me treasure, we spied in our glass the ghost pirate Captain Scalliwag Skull and his crew fleeing with our treasure! Quickly I shouted, "Shiver me timbers! All hands on deck! Ready the cannons!"

ATTACK! | We fired upon the ole Scallywag who stole the treasure that we stole fair and square from someone else! The ghost pirates put up a fierce fight, but I fired me cannons on one side of their ship and Sparrow fired upon the other side. We stole our treasure back and sent the ghost crew to Davey Jones' locker to swim with the fishes. They were goners.

From that day forth the ghost pirates from Captain Scallywag Skull's crew forever haunted the beaches near our infamous battle. | We divvied up the treasure between the two crews. There were plenty of doubloons, pieces of eight, and jewels to go 'round.

Jack Sparrow and I each bought an island in the Caribbean to rule. I crowned myself king and basked in the glory of my riches. Whenever I got bored of being king, I just set sail for my next adventure. YO HO! YO HO! A PIRATES LIFE FOR ME!
