1: San Francisco is located on the West Coast of the United States.
2: San Francisco Earthquake history: April 18, 1906, 5:12 am and October 17, 1989, 5: 05 pm | San Francisco Early History Around 10,000 years ago, before the Pacific waters had breached the span now covered by the Golden Gate Bridge, the history of the Ohlone people native to San Francisco had already begun.
3: REDWOOD NATIONAL AND STATE PARKS | Location: California Established: October 2, 1968 size: 131,983 acres, including 3 state parks Three redwood state parks-Jedediah Smith, Del Norte coast, and Prairie Creek- were encompassed by the national park when it was created in 1968. In 1978 Congress added 48,000 acres to the national park's 58,000acres, including about 36,000 that had been logged. When To go? think about a visit in spring, fall or winter.
4: The Golden Gate building is a technical masterpiece that can only be described in superlative terms. When the bridge was completed in 1937 it was the world's longest and tallest suspension bridge. Construction of the Golden Gate Bridge started in 1933. The bridge, which was designed by engineer Joseph Strauss was built to connect San Francisco with Marin County across the 1600 meter (+5000ft) wide strait known as the Golden Gate which links the San Francisco Bay with the Pacific Ocean.
5: It's the only ballpark in America where home runs can be "splash hits." Where the breathtaking Bay views rival the action on the field. | San Francisco Giants | Where one of baseball's most hallowed franchises plays inside an architectural landmark. Since its opening, in 2000, AT&T Park has become one of the greatest ballparks in baseball. Fans of all ages can enjoy a slide into home plate from one of the four slides inside the 80-foot wooden Coca-Cola contour bottle; stroll up to the world's largest baseball glove, or check out the views of the San Francisco Bay area. When a Giant hits a home run, strobes flash inside the Coca Cola bottle, bubbles appear to float from the bottle's mouth, and green and white lights flash up and down the neon tubes running along its ribs.
6: The De Young Museum originated as the Fine Arts Building, which was constructed in Golden Gate Park for the California Midwinter International Exposition in 1894. The chair of the exposition organizing committee was Michael H. De Young, co-founder of the San Francisco Chronicle. The Fine Arts Building was designed in a pseudo–Egyptian Revival style and decoratively adorned with images of hathor, the cow goddess. Following the exposition, the building was designated as a museum for the people of San Francisco. Over the years, the De Young has grown from an attraction originally designed to temporarily house an eclectic collection of exotic oddities and curiosities to the foremost museum in the western United States concentrating on American art, international textile arts and costumes, and art of the ancient Americas, Oceania and Africa.
7: San Francisco occupies the tip of a peninsula halfway up the coast of northern California, surrounded on three sides by bodies of water: the Pacific Ocean, the Golden Gate strait, and the San Francisco Bay. The city is laid out in a grid over some 40 hills, reaching heights of nearly 1,000 feet; this sometimes causes wide variations in temperature and sky conditions in different areas of town.
8: The weather in San Francisco is complicated and if you ask any local, it will probably take about 20 minutes to explain it. | Around the time football season starts you will find less fog and harsh wind in the morning and more sunny, warmer days, making the autumn and winter the best seasons to make the trip. The weather of San Francisco has typically great weather but it's not really warm there.
9: Do you know that cioppino is the most famous food in San Francisco? It came in early 1900s and became really popular! It's one of the best food you have to eat in San Francisco! | There are many Chinese and Japanese culture in San Francisco. Most of people speak English. There are many art museum and Classical Symphony. They have many Concerts every month.

11: I can't believe that I was watching San Francisco's night. It was really beautiful. I saw many beautiful things at night. I headed to my hotel. Tomorrow I will be busy. I should write something in my diary. Then, I fell asleep.
12: I woke at 7:00 A.M. I washed my face and I walked. First place I wanted to go was the Golden Gate Bridge.It was really huge and shinny. And then, I ate lunch and went to De Young Museum. I saw many famous arts there. When I finished the museum I walked to USS Memorial place, it was getting dark, when I finished the all sight seeing.
13: Do you how I was excited? I went to Redwood national and state parks where every tall trees are located. when I asked questions they answered me really kindly. They said size of national park is 131,983 acres, including 3 state parks, and it's really great to visit in spring,fall, or winter. For dinner, I asked people what food is the most famous. They said cioppino. It was really tasty and I think it's one of the best foods to have in San Francisco.
14: Today is the last day of the trip. I ordered many tickets, so I think today will be busy. In the morning, I watched Orchestra Concert at the hall. I heard many great piece I like. Then, I went to hotel and wait for the night! I ordered ticket for San Francisco 49ers. I always feel excitement when I'm watching great football game! Tomorrow, I have to leave here earlier. 16: WHAT EFFECTS HAS THIS JOURNEY HAD ON YOUR LIFE? I saw many great things. People usually take a trip to see something or, experience something new. First, I researched many information to finish this project, then I realized that I learned something from fictional journey. I still wanted to go and sight seeing something.
17: CONCLUSION It was one of my great experiences. Also, I wanted to show my feeling about San Francisco. I wanted to go there this year, but I couldn't. I had wonderful journey!
