14: OCTOBER 15th 2011 | “I’m taking you, Sophie, Ally, Kayelee, and Katherine to the Taylor Swift concert!” I said excitedly through the phone, as Tori Lynn gasped on the other line. It was about three months until the concert, but we were both as excited as we would have been had it been the next day. As the date, October fifteenth, crept up, the girls attending grew more and more excited. We all planned out our outfits and the activities for the night, and were about to burst with anticipation when that wonderful Saturday arrived. | My mom drove us to the city, where we ate delicious spaghetti and delightful desserts at Spaghetti Warehouse. Samuel Bennett, Christian Trent, and Nikiel Kim joined us for the nice dinner. Afterwards, we went into the concert building, and found our seats—which were very close to the stage! We chattered amongst ourselves until a band, Need to Breathe, started playing. About forty-five minutes of loud guitar and amazing vocals later, Need to Breathe bowed, and welcomed Taylor to the stage. The huge stadium erupted in joyful screams as she began singing “Spark’s Fly”. The concert was amazing, magical, and an unforgettable two hours for us girls. | THE GANG
